"We were given a 3 bedroom apartment but only requested a 1 bedroom apartment. This obviously wasn't a problem for us! We would have preferred a larger balcony as suggested in the photos on the website! Also feel it should be clearer that the property is situated on a very steep slope! Not a problem if you have a car which we didn't!!"
One-Level Mountain Villa: Spectacular Views, Pool & Hot Tub

"We had a fantastic two weeks at the villa with our family. It was pretty much perfect and the weather was lovely throughout. The views of the mountains and the sea were especially spectacular and we witnessed some amazing sunsets! The pool and hot tub were great and well-used by us and we enjoyed the opportunity to play table tennis too. The villa had everything we needed for cooking and felt spacious enough for us all (8 adults). I loved how it was decorated and all the tiling and detail and it was very clean and well cared for.The location is good with easy access to Torrox and the beaches (although the final part of the drive up is not for the faint-hearted). We had trips to Malaga and Granada (the Alhambra) which were great and only about an hour away each. And there is a lovely hiking trail we found at Fabrica de la Luz which we enjoyed along with a visit to he spectacular mountain town of Competa. There were plenty of places to visit, but it was also good to spend whole days at the villa too, lounging around the pool in the sun!A big thank you to Carlos too who was so friendly and helpful throughout - indeed it felt like staying at a good friend's place. He was always available to help if we needed anything or if we had any questions, but not at all obtrusive. Certainly one of the best holidays we've had together and I would thoroughly recommend the place."

"Had a wonderful Stay at this property. The villa itself was beautiful and the outdoor space was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our time here. I would recommend a stay to anyone!"

"We have been to this part of Spain many, many times and the views from this property are some of the best we've experienced. The property is well-equipped and very clean; check in was very easy and the owner was friendly and very helpful. The location is great, it's within 20 mins of the coast, large shopping centres and pretty towns like Nerja, and within an hour of Malaga. The only negative for us was the access to the villa, which is pretty difficult. We are used to steep, narrow Spanish mountain roads but this was worse than others we've experienced. The main issue is that the road surface is so poorly maintained, which makes it especially tricky to navigate, particularly at night! A 4x4 is definitely required and if you are not confident driving on Spanish roads, consider carefully before you book. It's such a shame, because the villa itself is fab. If only they were to tarmac the road properly, it would make such a difference."

"We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in de villa van Carlos, We hadden graag langer willen blijven. De villa is schitterend en heel ruim. In het echt nog mooier dan op de foto's. Het uitzicht is adembenemend. De weg naar de villa is prima te rijden, Het zwembad is heerlijk en de tuin is ook heel mooi.Carlos is een geweldige host en staat altijd voor je klaar.Wij komen graag nig een keer terug!!!Bedankt Carlos voor je goede zorgen!"
