Des aspects merveilleux et d’autres terribles : notre séjour a été mitigé et un peu décevant sur certains points. Positif : le personnel d’accueil adorable et très serviable, les chambres, les plats gastronomiques du restaurant Ruts, le spa très beau et qui donne sur des paysages incroyables MAIS : l’accès au spa n’est pas inclus dans le prix des chambres, c’est 70€ par personne et par jour. Ça les vaut quand il n’y a pas grand monde mais deux fois sur trois c’est rempli de buveurs d’alcool très bruyants et éméchés qui gâchent totalement le moment de repos des autres hôtes, et comme ils consomment beaucoup au bar, personne ne leur dit rien. Résultat : un moment plus stressant que relaxant, l’impression d’être dans un pub irlandais plutôt que dans un lieu de détente silencieux et tamisé. Donc promesse non tenue, le minimum serait de faire respecter le règlement à ces gens là, même s’ils sont intéressants pour le chiffre d’affaire… De même, le restaurant Ruts est formidable mais il faut s’y prendre en avance pour espérer avoir une table, car il est généralement pris d’assaut par des personnes extérieures, et le fait de séjourner à l’hôtel ne fait pas de vous des hôtes prioritaires, ce qui est dommage. Enfin, si vous vous offrez un massage, il faut prier pour tomber sur la bonne personne : mon mari a adoré le sien, j’ai vécu un calvaire avec une masseuse brutale, sans aucune douceur ni aucune empathie, une heure très douloureuse et cher payée ! Le pire massage de ma vie.

Personalen i receptionen var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma! Rummen är något olika utrustade, först hade vi ett utan fungerande kyl men det var inga problem att byta. I det nya rummet var det dock stopp i badrumsavloppet och inget skohorn. Avloppet rensades omedelbart men det tog ett dygn innan det kommit iordning med luktproblematik och ny badrumsmatta. Skohorn infann sig aldrig. Det var lite otydligt vid bokningen om utrustning i badrum så vi hade badkar och inga handtag så det blev lite svårt för en äldre person. Olika typer av termostater på olika rum. Men! Vi hade det jättebra i övrigt. Man behöver bil om man är lite äldre det är ganska långt till centrum och uppför på hemvägen. Jag avråder ingen från att testa detta fantastiska hotell och land. De kämpade med kvardröjande gäster som fått sitt plan inställt och det blev lite mycket vid frukosten men har man inte bråttom så var det inga problem. Kan absolut tänka mig att återvända igen.

Ret godt, men også ret dyrt.

Når man tager op til 4000 kr pr nat skal tingene virke og være istandsat. Vi oplevede: Ikke skift af lagen som lovet, køleskabet var tændt men kølede ikke, badekar med massage, hvor massage funktionen ikke virkede. Værelserne var lettere slidt og ingen A/C. Restauranten var rigtig god og alt personale helt ok. Skøn beliggenhed og udsigt Men noget overpriced.

Excellent hotel if you have a car otherwise book elsewhere as there is literally nothing nearby within a short walking distance. Staff are all 5 stars friendly and polite. Very nice facilities and excellent breakfast.

Vista espectacular, puedes ver ovejas rondando por el hotel, limpio, muy buen servicio, desayuno buffet con gran variedad. 20 min a pie del centro de Torshavn, un poco pesado el regreso, pero hay un autobús que te deja cerca del hotel y te ahorra la mitad del tiempo.
