"Remco and Ellen were exceptional hosts — responsive, outgoing, and devoted to ensuring we had a wonderful stay. The Yellow House was recently remodeled, with craftsmanship and attention to detail evident throughout. All amenities were in near mint condition, providing everything we needed throughout our stay. Mefjord Brygge

8/10 Good

"Upgraded to an Ole Wang Garden cabin at the last minute. The "house" was huge with 4 bedrooms. Kitchenette was well equipped although the utensils and pan were well used to the point the non stick pan was somehow scrapped by some sharp metal utensil (i don't know who/why anyone would think to use metal to scrape a non stick pan). Location is slightly off as you got to drive a few km inward on almost a fairly narrow 2 way road near to the end of fjord. Would be great if there were clear skies during the northern lights season but we had cloudy days, rain and day with strong gusts of wind so strong that the whole cabin creaked every time the gust of wind hit the house. Breakfast is standard buffet which supposedly is only included if you stay in a hotel room and not one of the apartments/cabins."

Senja Fjordcamp - Senja by Heart

10/10 Excellent

"This place was the highlight of my trip. The cabin, the views, the dinner at the restaurant and the friendly staff. Everything was near perfect. Breakfast buffet is rather plain and there is not much variety. Nonetheless the food at dinner is 11/10. Easily fine dining level. This was also the location where we saw the northern lights on the first night we arrived. Absolutely amazing with the mountains. There is also free laundry facilities and a gym as well. Definitely will be my choice to stay at if I ever return to Senja area."
