"Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal spa pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

"Good accommodation right on the hiking trail "Via Degli Dei" - Friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Good beds with nice cotton sheets and hot water in the shower. Dinner and breakfast were ok, but a bit too expensive for what it was. The same with the packed lunches, which we bought extra."

"Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

"We were quite disappointed in this stay. It was quite loud late into the night and the “bungalows” didn’t keep out the noise. The rooms weren’t specifically clean but the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The coffee machine wasn’t restocked-no coffee, the choices were vast but not restocked well. "This was my first time at Hotel Roma in Bologna and I would definitely stay there again. It's a grand old hotel, but it has been updated. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms and common areas are clean and comfortable. The location cannot be beat! It's in the city center, everything is walkable and the dining, shopping and sights are right outside. "
