It’s in a peaceful spot along the serene River Dart, with two pubs, 2 bistros and a well-stocked village shop within 50 metres. Start each day with a leisurely riverside walk and enjoy wild swimming and water sports on the river nearby.' The River Shack' on the Quay is a rustic bistro serving food and drinks throughout the day. Takeaway menus are also available in the village. Further afield, Coastal gems like Goodrington Sands and Paignton are just 5 miles away.


This terraced two-bed home has been thoughtfully renovated with respect for its original features, such as exposed stonework walls and charming window seats. You’ll enter straight into a compact lounge, complete with comfy seating, a wood burner and a Smart TV. Head through to the small but perfectly formed kitchen/diner, with its attractive tiling and dining nook bathed in natural light for morning coffees. There’s so much to do nearby – the pretty historic town of Totnes (4.5 miles) is a lovely place to hang out, with its bohemian shops and colourful market on Fridays and Saturdays. From here, you can take a serene walk to the arty village of Dartington (6 miles). Dartmouth (10 miles) promises a ride on a steam railway and delightful National Trust sites. Or plan a day out in Brixham (6 miles) for beach strolls and delicious seafood restaurants. Keen to pull on those hiking boots? Drive 11 miles to Dartmoor National Park for walks taking in craggy landscapes, forests, rivers and wetlands, and possibly some grazing Dartmoor ponies.
