Good value for the price paid with free parking. Close to the beautiful small town of Totnes. The location is a bit off in the countryside with very narrow roads to access, but you get a free parking lot by the hotel.

I took a chance on the hotel on the basis of the reviews I read and was absolutely delighted that I did. One thing that I found very useful was the fact that it was bed only which gave me the option of either having breakfast or not depending on what I had planned for the day ahead.

We were staying here while attending a two-day Event at Dartington Trust. It was 5 minutes travel on interesting Devon lanes but worth the journey. We stayed in the annex so getting in and out at anytime was easy and problem free. Stayed for dinner and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning and the food was both imaginative and delicious. Definitely recommend the Sea Trrout if you want a comfortable and perfect hideaway

Lovely peaceful location, food and service excellent. Lovely indoor bar area and also a lovely peaceful beer garden to sit out in. Room was generally of a good standard but some small renovations needed to bring it up to a high standard.
