The hotel was very convenient to the t rain station and was walkable from the old town. Staff was very helpful, letting us check in early when we had notified them of our early arrival in advance.

Excellent service, the folk on reception were all brilliant. Breakfast was simple but good. It's a bit cramped but ok for the price.

Small, Frenchy hotel with a great staff

This hotel is absolutely lovely if you are an admirer of old French-style buildings. You need to consider that cause this is not a new building with soundproof walls etc. but that's the charm and some noise really didn't bother me. The outside garden is a jewel and you can use it all day long. Breakfast is nice, although it could have some vegetables and more regional chees selections. The best of the best is the staff! They are so nice and helpful, they even got us an early breakfast cause our train was leaving to around 7am.

On the Expedia description, it stated that there was free parking on site. There isn't. It is on the road and limited free parking, you may have to pay. There is no one st the hotel until 4pm, do if you arrive earlier you have to wait outside. Also, the bathroom and toilet are separate and do not have any ventilation. The curtains are thin and in the morning the outside lights are lit at about 6.30 and its like daylight jn the room. There are shutters but we were not informed of these on arrival.

Although the hotel is cute, there is no air conditioning and no fans in the rooms to circulate air. Hotel rooms open up over busy street so traffic noise is an issue and windows cannot be left open. Nothing in the immediate vicinity—food, etc. Also, neither desk clerk was able to communicate in English.

Insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und relativ neu renoviert. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber noch ausreichend! Leider zur Straße gelegen und dadurch sehr laut. Trotz Hitze mussten wir bei geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen. Das Frühstück ist einfach mit guter Auswahl! Leider sind Baguette und Croissants nur aufgebacken. Sehr schön ist der kleine Innenhof, für ein ruhiges Frühstück gut geeignet!

Excellent séjour

Le personnel est gentil et au petit soin, j'ai d'ailleurs beaucoup apprécié que le Monsieur de l'accueil m'accompagne à ma voiture pour m'aider à sortir mes valises et me les a acheminées jusque dans la chambre. Celle-ci était propre, bien aménagée et calme. Bon séjour en famille.

Nous avons cherché sur Exoedia un hotel avec stationnement. Il indique que le stationnement de cet établissement est compris. Cependant à notre arrivé, nous avons appris que l’hôtel n’a pas de stationnement. Vous pouvez vous garer en face gratuitement ou dans la gare pas loin ($), nous avons trouvé une place heureusement, car peut ne pas en avoir, selon le moment de la journée. Le lit est bien, en général la chambre est propre, mais la salle de bain a plutôt une baignoire qu’une douche car il n’a pas de rideau ou autre pour empêcher l’eau de sortir. Pour avoir de wifi vous entrez dans un site ou vous devez indiquer certaines informations, alors je ne l’ai pas utilisé.

Wem eine charmante Atmosphäre wichtiger sind als Perfektion hat hier eine ideale Unterkunft gefunden. Unser Zimmer war eine Aneinanderreihung der jeweiligen Hotelinterieurs der letzten Jahrzehnte und so ist auch die Ausstrahlung des ganzen Hotels. Der Innenhof ist eine kleine Idylle, das Frühstück sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Auch eine abschliessbare Unterstellmöglichkeit für unsere Fahrräder war vorhanden. Wer Wert auf eine ruhige Nachtruhe legt sollte direkt beim Hotel buchen, wir hatten ein Zimmer zur sehr lauten Strasse und konnten nur mit geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen. Die Lage ist für eine Stadtbesichtigung ausgezeichnet!
