"Immaculate property, very clean, very comfortable. One of the nicest gites I have ever stayed in. Perfectly accessible for my teenage daughter who is a wheelchair user. The pool was amazing and we spent hours swimming. Rural location perfect for anyone who wants a quiet and relaxed holiday. Host Vanessa was friendly and welcoming. "Nice little house outside town with large windows and porch and a lot of privacy. Could be cleaner (not just for the eye) and the lighting could be better, but we had a very nice stay for a week, we even prolonged our stay with a day. The kitchen is well provided and the bathroom is good with a nice hot shower and lots of towels provided by the host. There is a bikepath along the canal to the little town of Decize, where there are a couple of nice restaurants. And there is a big supermarket...

"Ma fille et moi-même venons de passer une nuit dans ce fabuleux hôtel. Le cadre est splendide, très somptueux et bien décoré aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine un plus bien appréciable en ces jours de canicule. Notre chambre était parfaite. Le personnel accueillant, agréable et à l'écoute (à l'accueil comme au service). Le gérant a également passé du temps pour discuter avec nous de la ville et alentours. Merci encore de nous avoir consacrer du temps en fin de service. Le petit déjeuner un délice, varié en salé et sucré, et copieux. Une adresse que je garde pour une prochaine halte ! "I loved the place but there was nobody there when it was time to check in. I was sent instructions in French and I don't speak French. Thank goodness another guest was leaving and although they spoke French they took me to my room and showed me how to get in. I loved the place though and it was a great deal for the price. I'd definitely stay there again."

"Helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was average quality; tea bags kept at reception so you had to ask for them but I guess people had been taking them! Restaurant was good - majority of diners seem to be single people probably on business trips. Room was very small but also quiet. No lift so might be unsuitable for clients who have mobility issues. Strange that there is a notice in the room about paying for any glasses you might steal! Maybe reflects a poor experience on their part!"
