"We had a decent one night stay at the Timberline Inn while in the area to hike around Mt. St. Helens. There are few accommodations in this area. The front desk manager was friendly and helpful and they offer complimentary water, fruit and cookies in the small lobby. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable although the pillows were all a bit overstuffed for my taste. "People working desk were extremely helpful even though the area was very sketchy. Just off the highway which added a little uneasiness to our stay since we were on motorcycles but we were assured there was security cameras recently installed and no theft problems."

"Check-in time was 2-6 PM. 6PM is too early. I had to make special arrangements to check in at 8PM. There was confusion over my departure date. The owner asked me to leave a day early out of her confusion, but later got it straight. The WiFi was terrible—reception was okay, but it was limited access not allowing access to most web sites."
