"I have to say this was the best vrbo I ever stayed in due to the amazing couple that owned and manages this place. They were helpful in so many ways. The place itself is relaxing and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of big cities but close enough to bike ride (which they have bikes to use) to some of the closer towns around if you don't mind a few hills to climb. "Super place, easy to get to local places like St Romaine, Aubeterre, and Limoges and Cognac. Hosts were very generous—great breakfasts, and made dinner for us one night. We’ll stay there again when we’re in the Chalais area"

"The pretty gite sits next to the impressive main house in large grounds with lovely features. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, dual aspect with a nice balcony off one of the bedrooms and a modern bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped, there was a comfortable lounge and an outdoor table and chairs under the mulberry trees. We particularly loved hanging out at the pool and heading off on day trips in the local area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful."
