"The Expedia confirmation of my reservation stated that a deposit had been charged to my card. This turned out to be incorrect, they had just placed a hold on my card. This led to an issue on check-in when I was asked to pay the full price of the stay when I was expecting only to pay the balance. This misleading information from Expedia created an unpleasant first impression at the hotel. The hotel has old facilities, which are reasonably well maintained.
