"when you come to the station, you get warm welcome and help you check in hotel. Your luggage was taken to the hotel by staff . Also, the room is ready to use for you. The town is small, so you can walk to where you want to go. The staff is very nice and professional, They work for you."

"We had a fantastic experience staying at Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei! From the beginning, everything was well organized. They arranged a shuttle bus from the train station, and upon arrival, an attendant took the time to explain the ryokan’s facilities, Kinosaki Onsen, and where to find local food and public hot springs. The ryokan itself has indoor and outdoor hot baths, a cold bath, and a sauna, so we didn’t even need to leave to enjoy the onsen experience. They also offer complimentary scheduled shuttle buses to the village for exploring and onsen hopping. The hospitality was excellent, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. It was a wonderful and relaxing way to end our Japan trip. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful zen like place.The breakfast and dinner was convenient because going into town,a lot of place maybe closed early and especially during Wednesday or Thursday a lot of stores are just closed.Perfect place to visit.Staff is very efficient and helpful whether you speak Japanese or not.Check out is at 10am and after you can go to the other onsen til 1pm or just checkout the cute town."

"Absolutely magical experience. From beginning to end the entire place was set up with thoughtful consideration to make our stay as luxurious and enjoyable as possible. The facilities are stunning, the gardens magical, the food unforgettable, and the guest onsens so relaxing. So glad I made this reservation!"

"Had a really lovely stay here. Very friendly and attentive staff, comfortable futon bed, traditional tatami room. The meals were incredible, very authentic delicious seafood and shabu shabu."

"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a great experience staging in a traditional ryokan. The staff was helpful and very attentive to our needs, and they included tea and Japanese sweets upon arrival. The only downside to staging here is that it is a 15 min walk from the main town, but we didn’t mind it, and they provide a shuttle throughout the day for your convenience. Overall had a great experience and would recommend!"

"This ryokan was beautiful. We stayed in a refurbished room with a shower and balcony, which was modern and clean, though a bit small for two people and two suitcases. The front staff member was decent with English and everyone was very accommodating. Note that this ryokan accepts luggage forwarding, and parking is ~1000yen per night."

"Fantastic hotel. Prime location, beautiful outlook onto the river and mountain behind. Beautiful interiors and rooms. Fantastic restaurant - we enjoyed breakfast and dinner and an evening drink up there. Kinosaki onsen itself is lovely we visited 3 onsen with the pass that they provided us. Highly recommend a 2 night stay. Easy train tourney from Osaka."
