Excellent location, attentive staff and very comfortable room. I'd return.

Everything was unique about this place, the location, the warm and generous host, her dog Twiggy. We had a delicious breakfast every morning including freshly made crepes. At the last minute we were given a ride to the nearest train station ! I will never forget Nicole and her place. Ligia

We had an amazing stay.

The hosts were wonderful- helpfull and polite. The breakfast was delicious with homemade jam and yogurt and fluffy eggs! We would stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Folklore Boutique Hotel in Sancerre. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, and full of charm—the perfect place to stay while visiting this wonderful wine region. Our room was comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and felt both modern and very much in keeping with the character of Sancerre. The location was fantastic for exploring the village on foot, enjoying the local restaurants, shops, and, of course, the incredible wines. What really made our stay special was the...

The home was classical French, in my mind anyhow, which made it perfect. The room was on the third floor so, perhaps, not ideal for folks with disabilities, but there were other rooms, and I enjoyed the walk up the stairs. No elevator was available. The home was enclosed behind a secure fence with a coded gate. The grounds were neatly landscaped and presented a felling of serenity and relaxation, which was so appreciated after an overnight flight of 8 hours.

Very friendly people. Right next to Loire. Beautiful.

Everything was excellent. A wonderful stay.

The staff was so nice and welcoming. The hotel is spotless! Fabulous dinner at their restaurant and great breakfast. AC was greatly appreciated! We highly recommend and will return for sure.

This is a simple and affordable hotel great for a night or two while traveling through the region by car. Staff is very professional, hotel is clean and quiet. Simple but very nice breakfast.

Bruno de la Palme and his wife Marion were exceptional hosts. Bruno is extremely knowledgeable of local wines, local producers, and frankly general knowledge. His wine tours cannot be missed. Conversations were full of interesting facts and details, especially relating to wine. We were treated as if we were long lost friends staying at their home.

Generally nice property with a great restaurant for a hotel. No dark curtain makes you feel kind of unsafe especially on the ground floor facing the road.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Rooms were comfortable, well appointed and with good amenities. The bed was comfortable. Rooms were well insulated. The location was quiet. Great value. We would stay here again.
