"This property was perfect for our family. It was just a 2 min walk from shops, restaurants, and pubs, and located at the end of a culdasack, so it was very quiet. The house was very clean and spacious, and well fitted. Everyone in town were amazingly kind and friendly. "Sheen Falls Lodge is a beautiful property, with nice amenities. Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the fishing opportunity as it was fully booked. We were able to take a horse back ride, but I found it rather expensive, especially considering the price we paid for the room. The restaurant service was lacking. We asked for three wines before finding one they had in stock - this was in the Stable restaurant and the overall experience there caused us to cancel our reservation for the following night in the hotel restaurant. Overall experience left me sad that this beautiful property is not being managed better for the price one pays."
