'RIVER HAVEN' is a serene riverside cabin on the Rogue River

Our clean, rustic style cabin is a tranquil setting on the Rogue River, a perfect spot for bird watching ( Eagles, Ospreys and so many bird and duck varieties) and fishing (salmon, steelhead). Dine al fresco on the large wrap around deck. There is a large grassy lawn with a shallow walk- in beach on the river. The deck is completely surrounded with a fence with gates for child safety. The home is fully furnished with every comfort and amenity one could wish for, including BBQ and fire pit. Just 5 minutes drive to all the amenities of Shady Cove. This is a perfect spot to enjoy the many hiking trails, or relax at one of the nearby wineries. Historic Crater Lake and Ashland's famous Shakespeare Festival are just 45 minutes away. Come and enjoy!

Great Riverside Location

We fished right off the bank and enjoyed the firepit in the evening. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. We especially liked the awesome deck and birds. Great, responsive owner!

Awesome stay at River Haven

We had a great time at River Haven. The accommodations were perfect and the kitchen was well equipped. The view off the deck couldn’t be beat. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely cabin on the rogue

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very relaxing to sit on the deck after a day of hiking. Plenty of beautiful hikes in the area as well as some wineries.

Comfortable Rivers Edge stay

Very comfortable stay! The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of space and furniture to relax in. The beds and bedding were awesome!! Loved being on the river and had many options on outdoor relaxation. Also nice that there was travel info for places to explore in the area. Thanks for the opportunity for the stay so we could enjoy the beautiful area!

Wonderful river side stay!

We (2 adults, one 6 y/o) really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The house is very comfortable with all the things you need for a great stay, including cooking essentials and toys for kiddos. Having the river right in the backyard was a unique and amazing experience! The home is about an hour from Crater Lake but the drive is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding Scenic Stay

The cabin is riverside and the wrap around deck provided a relaxing viewpoint to watch birds and for fishing. The cabin is perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked, the furniture is comfortable, and the decor is really nice. We enjoyed our stay. Host was very nice.

Perfect cottage on the Rogue River

The cottage is perfectly located and has a lovely private river front yard. Inside is very nicely furnished and decorated. The beds are especially comfortable. There are stunning views of the Rogue out of most the windows. We had a wonderful stay and watched the annular eclipse from the lawn by the river. We will be back.

Beautiful and Relaxing

The cabin was everything we hoped it would be. Clean and stocked with everything we could ever have needed. It was so relaxing to sit on the bank of the river and listen to the water. We saw deer, ducks and even a river otter! Dante (the cat) came by everyday for petting. We took a drive to Crater Lake and the nearby falls. We had an amazing time and hope to come back again.

Just like home, but with an incredible view!

The home was very clean and charming. We cooked full meals each night and found the kitchen well stocked with fresh, new cookware, dishes and utensils. The pictures and description of the backyard were very accurate. It was gorgeous, peaceful and so relaxing. Very convenient 5 minutes drive to the store and restaurants. We will be going back. Cozy, Convenient and Relaxing

We booked the cabin for its riverfront as a place to explore Crater Lake and the Rogue River area. It was a perfect setting to enjoy a coffee on the deck, explore the sites then relax on the deck or in the river under the shade of the trees. The place is precisely as shown in the listing, if you like the pictures you'll love the place. Vicky was excellent to deal with, very responsive and provided valuable information about the area. Will gladly stay here again if we are back in the area.

Picture Perfect!

Such an amazing place to stay! The “cabin” is a dream, from the views of the Rogue to the beautiful decks and fire pit to the incredibly furnished inside that had every amenity you could want or need! Fishing from the lawn or watching rafters floating by was how we spent every day. It was absolutely perfect! Oh, and the neighborhood cat, Dante, made it feel like home! 🙏❤️😎🐈‍⬛

Our stay at beautiful River Haven!

My husband and I had a wonderful 5 days at River Haven! The cabin was adorable and so comfy. Kitchen had everything you would need if you plan on cooking. We spent most of our time outside on one of the 3 decks watching all the fisherman and rafters go by. My husband even tried fly fishing for the first time and really enjoyed it! We took a day trip up to crater lake and couldn’t believe how beautiful it was! And to top it all off we had the neighborhood Siamese cat, Dante, visit us every day. We really enjoyed his company! Even though it was a long drive from where we live in CA we’re already talking about returning next year! Thank you Vicky!

A True Haven

The 2 day/3 night stay at river Haven was wonderfully relaxing, mainly due to the beautiful setting and this amazing cabin. To start with, the neat freaks in our group both commented on how clean everything was! The beds were great (loved those linens!), everything we needed in the kitchen, and comfortable seating inside and out. We especially enjoyed the evening visits from the beautiful long haired cat (Persian?) who came to sit on the patio with us in case we dropped any food! A well thought out cabin that is well cared for. Perfect for couples (us) or families. Wish all hosts took the care that Vicky does with River Haven.

Riverfront Relaxation!

This property was homey, comfortable, and relaxing! Everything inside was clean. The back deck is out of this world! It is perched above the river and always has shade. Having the river so close was both serene, and gave our daughter a fun place to play. The water right in front is shallow and slower moving than the middle of the river, so we were comfortable with our 2 yr old walking around and playing in close to the shore. The house is in a great area, within a short drive to a variety of trails and some beautiful waterfalls. Vicky was a great host, and her beautiful artwork adorns the walls of the cabin. Thanks for everything! We had a great time!
