"The Lotus Field Homestay was located in a breathtaking environment, with impeccably clean rooms and amenities, good food, and incredibly helpful staff to whom we owe our profound gratitude when one of our party members got very sick. We couldn't have asked for more from a property in Ninh Binh."

"Beautiful spot but the room had mold everywhere (curtains, walls, ceiling) and there was black mold in the shower. Breakfast was ok but nothing was labeled and as a vegetarian I wasn’t sure what had meat or not. We ended up checking out early "

"Hoang Minh Mountainside Villa was a pretty unique experience overall. Being out in the jungle setting was definitely cool and gave the stay a different vibe compared to being right in town. That said, the location is quite far from Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, so getting to restaurants, shops, or anything else takes a bit of effort. The property does provide bikes, but unfortunately all of the ones we saw had flat tires and didn’t feel reliable enough for a longer ride into town. On the plus side, arranging a car was easy and convenient, usually with only a 5–10 minute wait. We stayed in the family suite, which was spacious and comfortable, and definitely a highlight of the stay. However, there were a few downsides. The breakfast was underwhelming and didn’t feel entirely food-safe, which was a bit concerning. Another issue was the shower, the shower head was quite corroded and the water pressure was almost nonexistent, making it difficult to use. Overall, it was a good stay. The property itself is cool and has the essentials, but there are a few areas that could use improvement to really match the setting."

"This was an incredible stay. The location, the breakfast oh that pool, so refreshing after long walks. You can access the entire area by foot. I stayed a week. Never rented a scooter and walked to Ninh binh twice. Freedom was such a relaxing wonderful experience and the little lady who literally sweeps, cleans and smiles all day. Made my day as the world goes mad. My mind was free. Thank you, it's not goodbye, just see you down the trail. 😍"

"This was a fabulous place to stay! Interesting scenic location, clean large facilities and the friendliest, helpful staff. They helped us sort out our luggage storage issue so we could spend the day in Tam Coc prior to the sleeper bus! Our very big thanks!"
