Das Hotel ist von seiner Lage her toll in das Traunsteiner Zentrum eingebettet. Es hat einen gediegenen, aber in die Jahre gekommenen Charme. Letzteres ist aber zugleich auch ein Manko. Wir haben dieses Hotel schon mal in der Vergangenheit besucht und insbesondere die Zimmer haben einen deutlichen Renovierungsstau. Besonders stach diesmal ein Schaden im Waschbecken und Fugenprobleme in der Dusche hervor. Leider haben wir in der Zwischenzeit keine grundsätzliche Renovierung bzw. Verbesserung feststellen können, wobei wir natürlich keine Blick in weitere Zimmer hatten. Mit dem Service und auch dem Frühstück waren wir recht zufrieden. Allerdings ließ die Qualität beim Frühstück in einzelnen Elementen nach. Die Croissants waren hart wie Stunden (oder Vortag?) zuvor aufgebacken, obwohl wir 1h nach Öffnung frühstückten. Und auch der Obstsalat schmeckte leicht vergohren. Der Rest war in Ordnung. Aber trotzdem schade, weil das Frühstück aus der Erinnerung zu den Highlights des Aufenthaltes zählte. Der Aufenthalt insgesamt war in Ordnung, wobei das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis mit gehobenen Zimmerpreisen nicht wirklich stimmt.

An sich ist es eine schöne Unterkunft. Wir hatten als Familie ein sehr großes Zimmer und das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Man merkt nur leider, dass das Hotel einen Wartungsstau zu haben scheint. Das eine Fenster an der großen Fensterfront im Zimmer war defekt und durfte nicht geöffnet werden. Dann bitte schleunigst austauschen! Die Heizung im oberen Zimmerstockwerk tropfte und es stand eine Schüssel für das Wasser drunter. Das fängt irgendwann an zu stinken. Auch hier bitte dringend den Defekt beheben. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber auch keine Empfehlung, dass man es unbedingt mal mitgenommen haben sollte. Alles in allem ein solides Hotel, mit aber deutlich mehr Potenzial!

Leider sind die Zimmer sehr Hellhörig und man hört leider so einiges. Auch das Frühstück hätte besser sein können einige Speisen waren kalt und mann hätte auch mehr Abwechslung bringen können. Beispiel Semmeln usw. Personal war einigermaßen in Ordnung.

Wir sind jetzt seit mehreren Jahren im Parkhotel zu Gast. Die Zimmer sind schön groß, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was aber dem Stil des Hauses entspricht. Leider hat das Frühstück über die letzten 2-3 Jahre sehr nachgelassen. Es gibt keinen Sekt mehr, und die warmen Speisen sind meist nur lauwarm, aber die netten Angestellten bereiten diese gerne auf, wenn man danach fragt.

Der Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals in dem Hotel ließ zu wünschen übrig. Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe. Der Parkplatz war bei der Buchung des Hotels nicht auszuwählen. Vor Ort wurde man dann noch blöd angemacht. Die Zimmer sind dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Einmal und nie wieder!!!

Das Parkhotel ist für einen Kurzaufenthalt recht gut. Es ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber es war sauber und das Frühstück gut. Die Lage ist durch die direkte Nähe zur Innenstadt empfehlenswert.
