"Wonderful vista out to sea from our balcony. The hotel, more a country manor, was interestingly decorated and furnished, sort of Louis X1V meets Graham and Green. All soft colours and bleached wood. 0ur room was very comfortabe Good bed and linen and a duvet thank goodness. Dinner was delicious. "This property does not meet Relais & Châteaux standards. The “beachfront” photos are misleading—access is blocked by a road, fence, and neighbouring outbuildings. The hotel is in poor condition (stained upholstery, cracked tiles, broken fixtures, peeling paint) and appears understaffed, with little service after check-in. Amenities were lacking, the restaurant was closed, and the overall impression was of a misrepresented and poorly maintained property."
