"We chose to stay here because it is close to the Ferry port in Santander where we sailed in to from Plymouth. "This is a nice apartment in a block of apartments that share a small pool. Other residents were friendly and the apartment is in walking distance of a couple of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Colombres is in a beautiful location with an interesting history and access to the mountains and beaches of Asturias. "We enjoyed our week here. The house was fine for 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the sunshine although it might be a bit small if there was as a lot of rain and you needed to be inside - for example only 1 small sofa to sit on and 4 chairs round the table. The swimming pool and padel tennis court were amazing - we loved using them and mostly had them to ourselves all week! The local beaches are beautiful. A kettle would have been a good addition to the kitchen!"

"Located in a small hamlet about 7 minutes drive from Santillana del Mar and about 10 minutes from beach, playa de Tagle (there is also a walking path to beach that we didn’t use). There is not a beach view from apartment but views across the valley are lovely. Apartment was well appointed and very clean. The beds were comfortable. Owners left a few little snacks, teas, etc - nice touch! Check in was remote (very convenient when unsure of exact arrival time) and parking was available on site....
