"I would class this hotel as ‘olde worlde’….. So anyone wanting modern it probably isn’t for you. Lots of interesting passages and stairs, and flagstone floors add to the atmosphere. Shower and bathroom very clean, TV, excellant, tea and coffee available in rooms. Breakfast ok, I wouldn’t say outstanding. ..."

"Being of limited mobility it was hard reaching the 3rd floor. Although there was a lift it was constantly breaking down and if there were no night staff you could be stuck for some time"
