"Our stay started with a warm greeting and introduction from the owner and it kept getting better. Beautiful view of Mt Etna, amazing rooms that were top notch, and a breakfast that pleased everyone. I honestly would give this place 6 out of 5 stars. We had 5 people staying in my family, and everyone agreed that this was the nicest place we’ve stayed with all around quality. Highly recommend it!"

We only stayed one night which was not enough, next time we are staying way longer. This place is great if you want quiet luxury and a base to explore Catania and the many winieries around Etna. "We enjoyed our stay at Zash. It's an excellent hotel. The restaurant has great dinner offerings and an amazing breakfast. The service was next level. Two things that were not problems for us but something you should generally be aware of is that the hotel is sort of in the middle of nowhere. If you dont have a car, it might make things challenging. There is also a train right next to the property. It never really bothered us, but its there...and you will hear it. "
