This property was lovely and clean, in close proximity to Bar Harbour and the Acadia Park, and the owners were very helpful and kind. As two young women travelling alone, we felt very safe here and would definitely recommend it.

Perfect little spot for a short getaway. Staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the outside bar and dining. Great location to Marginal Way and nearby restaurants.

The location to Acadia and price were why we stayed here. Overall everything was good for the price but the shower was quite small and bad compared to others if you are tall. Our king bed was also a bit sunken but the right size.

I visited Acadia NP and the location was good at 20 minutes away. The cabin was nice and had 2 rooms. The heat worked well. The morning coffee was fresh. There was a great seafood restaurant across the street with good Lobster. The motel manager was very friendly.

I stay at this motel every time I come to Maine and I absolutely love it. Its nothing fancy, just a good, clean motel that I feel very comfortable at. As a solo traveler I sometimes visit motels where I don't feel safe at. Not this place. Yes, its older and doesn't have room service or anything like that. Its close to everything. You have a gas station and a restaurant (which sells some of the best lobster and crab rolls) right across the street. Cant wait to visit again

This is a no frill motel. We stayed on Thursday and friday. Friday’s price was $50 more due to weekend at peak leaf peeping season. I don’t see that until I paid for the rental otherwise $220 for Friday was in my opinion too high for the rooms they had. The shower was almost smaller than a cruise ship shower. Otherwise the room was clean. Also we went out sight seeing on Friday and came back to a fridged room. The thermostat was turned all the way down and the window had been opened. They should have known we were staying another night. It took over an hour to warm the room after we returned.

It was a quaint little spot that was much more reasonably priced than other motels/ hotels during foliage season. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a fridge. The bed was comfortable. Those are the main things I am looking for. It is on a busy road, so it’s noisy. There is nothing that can be done about that. I turned on the AC and that drowned it out. It’s close to Acadia, maybe 20-30 min away. My only complaint is the styrofoam cups for the coffee/ tea in the morning. Instead of cardboard. Just bring your own cup and you are all set. He provided little doughnuts. I would stay again.

Stayed here for my 3 day visit to Acadia, very glad I chose this property. Close enough to Bar Harbor and the park, but far enough away, so you’re not landlocked within the island. Clean room, clean property, parking lot is well lit night, and there’s a lobster shack right across the street that had the best bang for your buck lobster I personally found with my stay to Maine.

The shower was impossible to shower in, way too small. The heating was inefficient in that the common area would be roasting within 3 min of it turning on and the bedrooms and bathroom remained colder. The motel is on a heavily traveled road and there is literally no sound barrier, I think we slept maybe two hours. On the flip side, the room was clean and the staff was nice. We did check out a day early because it just wasn’t bearable for us to stay the second night, and upon checking out and answering why we were leaving early the staff remained friendly.

The room was clean. The room had a full bed instead of a queen bed but according to the front office, we booked a full bed instead of a queen bed, but that’s highly unlikely. Through my experience of booking hotels/motels I never heard of a room having a full bed.
