Access to the apartment involves driving up to top of hill and walking up several sets of stairs. Apartment is on the top level with sloped ceiling. "Pros: Everything in the house was new and clean, and it is very spacious and comfortable. It is located just outside the main part of Triberg, but only a few minutes away by car. There are beautiful Black Forest hikes and nice towns to visit in literally every direction, so this was the perfect place for us to stay to explore the region. Cons: The apartment is on the top floor, so on a hot day, it can get a bit warm. But there is a fan, and with the windows open on all sides, it does cool down...

"Stayed for one night, booked last minute the day before traveling North from Switzerland, needed somewhere in the black forest with good check-in/out times and somewhere to securely park the bike (car park right by the hotel, plenty of eyes on it and it's quite a secluded location so no concerns!) - great little beer garden, food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was great - great value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!"

"Beautifully situated for wonderful views of the valley below. Good parking. The proprietor, Ingolf, is a really likeable extrovert with good English. Best not to mention World Cup, Germany, however!!! Breakfasts are good with occasional treats. Our room was large, plenty of storage, clean with a table for four - good for takeaways etc. (no chambermaid, but not needed anyway) balcony more than adequate for that evening tipple. No lunch or evening meals, but no problem. Beer, soft drinks in large fridge - honor system used. Braunbergstuble further up the hill (watch out for small pointer signs) welcoming, excellent with large meals and Credit cards accepted. Hotel Hirsch in town, Credit cards not accepted and told after the meal. All in all a lovely break.Thank you Ingolf."

"It’s a great simple place and we’re very accommodating with mt secure bike storage It’s a big sporting complex and was fine Near to a pizza place as well as its own restaurant which I didn’t try Walkable to the shopping centre so no big issue Was clean and very compatible with my needs No aircon but didn’t need it Has a swimming pool and sauna free to use for guests but didn’t get to use"
