Fabulous place to stay in Trieste!

The location was perfect - right in the heart of many restaurants within walking distance. Bus stops are close, and there is a taxi stand just one block away. The apartment was very clean and spacious. For anyone that has trouble with climbing stairs, I would not recommend, as there is no elevator. We enjoyed our stay there.

Nice City visit

The „luxury“ Apartment is a nice place in a crowded pedestrian district with lots of restaurants and night bars. Ist was very difficult to find a parking space for the car. The announced parking in the advert didn‘t exist, but we managed to rent another closed parking lot from the land lady. Thanks for that. All in all we had a nice vacation. Tina /Germany

Difficult

Lage perfekt. Zugang über viele Treppen, was vorher nicht klar war. Die Räumlichkeiten / Betten zu positiv beschrieben. Duche / Toilette sehr sauber und funktional.Wenig hilfreiche Informationen, dafür viele "Verbote ". Das und das nicht berühren...Die Kommunikation mit Barbara war schwierig, sehr empfindlich/ uneinsichtig bei Nachhaken.

Charming and conveniently located 2-bedroom apartment (La Scalinata).

This is a very charming and conveniently located 2-bedroom apartment (La Scalinata, also on booking.com). It's located steps from a pedestrian street with many sidewalk cafes and bars and is a pleasant 10 min walk into the centre of town. The interior is pleasantly decorated and well maintained: a kitchen with small but sufficient table for eating, a good shower, 2 bedrooms (one master bedroom and one smaller room with 2 twin beds). There are not 3 bedrooms, as claimed on HomeAway or Booking.com, instead two additional fold-up beds are provided in the lounge. The only problem was dealing with the owner (Barbara), who was inexplicably very rude and difficult in her emails and interactions. She didn't give out clear let-in instructions, and so we ended up outside the building doors in the dark and rain not knowing which apartment it was or how get in. Luckily our kindly taxi driver helped out by called her up and her assistant came over. On the up-side, once there, we only communicated with her assistant (Max), who was very kind and helpful. With a marked improvement in the proprietor's customer service, I would certainly recommend this apartment.

Appartamento accogliente, luminoso, pulito, accessoriato. Arredamento curato e personalizzato con amore e gioia.Ogni ambiente è fine a se stesso e segue una sua logica amorevolmente accurata; nulla è lasciato al caso. Soggiornare qui è piacevole e rilassante. La posizione è eccellente.

Insgesamt eine Top Adresse

Die Wohnung liegt wirklich zentral, gleich neben eine belebten Fussgängerzone. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig und herrlich zum Schlafen. Die Zimmer sind sehr spärlich möbliert, nur wirklich das allernotwendigste ist da, aber alles ist sehr sauber und adrett. Parkgarage ist enorm wichtig. Es empfiehlt sich, die Schlüsselübergabe schon ein paar Tage vorher zu vereinbaren, es könnte sonst eine Schnitzeljagd daraus werden ;-)

Hübsches Appartment mitten im Zentrum von Triest

Sehr schönes Appartment mitten im Zentrum von Triest. Tolle Lage. Unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Wir waren als Familie (5 Personen) zu Gast. Dank der 3 Schlafzimmer und dem Zustellbett im Wohnzimmer war ausreichen Platz. Das Appartment verfügt über eine gute Grundausstattung (Küche) und WLAN. Besonders nützlich war der Parkplatz in der TG (absolutes Muss in Triest, da man ansonsten fast keine Möglichkeit findet, in der Innenstadt zu parken. Gerne wieder.

Mixed Feelings

A fabulous apartment! I would have given it 4 stars had it not been for issues around parking. Firstly, it was not a 'garage under the flat' as advertised at the time, but some 350 meters away. Secondly, we could not get access to it for the first 5 days of our 10 day stay. Street parking around the flat was impossible due to road closures for resurfacing. After complaining, the owner's communications sadly turned very unpleasant, very quickly. Not a great experience over all

Wonderful host. Beautiful apartment. Great location.

La comodità in centro

Trieste è una città molto vasta, avere la possibilità di abitare in centro e con lo comodità del garage a due passi è favoloso. La casa in sé è di recente ristrutturazione, spaziosa e pulita. Sull'arredamento ognuno ha i suoi gusti, ma l'essere a 10 minuti a piedi da piazza Unità d' Italia ed a 5 dal proprio garage coperto è impagabile. Abbiamo potuto muoverci anche fuori città nella certezza che al ritorno non avremmo avuto problemi di parcheggio o rischio di multe. Molto gentile anche la proprietaria. Appartamento consigliato assolutamente.

Really comfortable and clean

Location. This was right beside bus stops we used the number 6 and easy walking distance from other bus stops. buses are cheap and frequent. We were a little distance from the beach which was easy for adults to walk to but needed to use bus with the little ones. Everything was in walking distance, and we used a combination of walking and bus depending on the heat of the day and mode of my children. Restaurants were right on the door step - a whole street of eateries. We really were pleased it made things easy. Food shopping. The Co op was a three minute walk. I did see signs for a Lidle that was close by bus on the third day we were their but by this point we did not need to do any more shopping. Flat. We were pleased. Every thing was nicer that the photos showed. The kitchen was excellent. Only draw back was there was no freezer. The beds were all comfortable. and the pillows were too. We were all pleased and the toilet with hand basin being in a separate room from the shower was great. There was lots of towels and soaps etc were all provide. We were very pleased The host meet us on the stairs to the flat and this worked well. We were happy and would recommend this flat.

Molto carina

L'appartamento è veramente carino molto curato e molto pulito, tutto nuovo, direi abbastanza lussuoso. Il garage molto comodo a due minuti a piedi vicino alla posta e al cinema del viale XX Settembre. Posizione centralissima si raggiunge tutto a piedi, collegato con linea 6, 9 a piazza unità e alla zona balneare di Miramare circa 7 minuti di bus. sono molto contenta.

Un angolino asburgico nel cuore di Trieste

Siamo arrivati la mattina due docenti di Napoli due di Udine ed un insegnante nata a Trieste, tutti amici, un viaggio per alcuni di noi molto lungo. All' inizio il nostro timore era che la casa non fosse cosi bella come nella descrizione e nelle foto ma ci siamo presto ricreduti! Appartamento stupendo ubicato su una scalinata storica vicino al teatro Rossetti, molto solleggiato al secondo piano di uno stabile in centro storico. Ci siamo meravigliati del buon gusto e dei bellissimi mobili, un primoingresso ristrutturato da poco. Decorazioni, quadri, mobili di design non mancava nulla, e soprattutto materrassi comodissimi in memory foam. Il garage distava circa 200 metri, questo lo immaginavo, in centro storico e in zona pedonale non si puo posteggiare e non ci sono garage sotto casa. Del resto l'appartamento era incantevole con un grande charme e un nonsoche di asburgico che caratterizza un po tutti i palazzi di Trieste, ognuno di essi ha la sua piccola storia. spero di ritornarci presto Ciao Scalinata

Scalinatella longa longa

Nell'appartamento vi abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni a luglio, 4 adulti più cagnolino. Siamo stati bene, perché comodamente sito in centro e con molti servizi attorno: bar, ristoranti, negozi di alimentari e shopping in genere. Non possiamo definirlo però di lusso, anche se arredato di recente, con gusto e con alcuni pezzi di design. Va segnalato che è al secondo piano, senza ascensore e in cima a una scalinata urbana. Non è dotato di lavastoviglie, né di microonde, almeno per il momento. Ci sono due bagni, ma un solo wc. Il garage è distante ed è preferibile posteggiare nei paraggi della casa.
