- The little gem offers amazing views of the lake and the Sangre De Cristo mountain range. Relax on the spacious deck with grill or enjoy the outdoor sports of Colorado. With Cuchara Ski Basin now open, skiing is just a day trip away! Kayak and fish in the lake, hike, mountain bike or just enjoy the beautiful views. This is the perfect spot to relax for up to 2 adults. Inquire about pets. Come and enjoy Colorado outdoors. This is 20 min from downtown. The roads are dirt and a 4WD is not required but may make travel easier in inclement weather.
