It felt like stepping into a family cottage handed down through the generations with bits and pieces from every decade for a hundred years. We loved the old cottage feel with the comforts of today (internet, wifi, heat and plumbing!) The location was perfect for our 24 hour stay. We appreciated the coffee, tea and sugar in the kitchen, the abundance of clean towels and soap in the bathroom and the spacious bedrooms. "We had booked this cottage near the end of our road trip through Newfoundland and were ready for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Our expectations were met with the warm and welcoming setup in the home. The interior has been completely upgraded. Very comfortable bed, beautiful lake view, well appointed kitchen, laundry facilities, kitchen and washrooms with quality built in. The room with the pull out couch and TV would give privacy to a second couple or kids. Beautiful and highly recommend."
