"Our overnight stay was sweet and low key at Laklouk. We had spent the day exploring Bsharri and then drove to Laklouk to stay overnight. The stay is very cosy and personal as the owners of the house are there. The house has 4 rooms so there aren't many guests. Lovely outdoor areas to relax and have breakfast, or enjoy the amazing sunset view. The next day we had a 1 hour ATV tour, which was a great way to see the surrounds and highly recommend. The owners and Mohammed are very happy to help facilitate any bookings, everyone is very nice and checking on you regularly if you need anything. Do recommend! "

"Truly one of the best hotel experiences I've had. Exceptionally clean, efficient check-in and check-out, and unbeatable convenience—just a short, easy walk to the restaurant nestled inside the souk. Everything was seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed at this property for 10 days and was offered the room in the village and was in walking distance to the beach and salt water pool. The room that we were initially placed in was very spacious with a loungeroom and contained sandstone feature walls and ceilings which were not sealed and bits of sandstone was falling everywhere including on the bed, floor and on the lounge. After informing the property manager (Rola) about this, she was happy to move us to the room next door. This also had feature walls and ceilings but there was not one over the bed however the dust was still falling from the ceiling but not as bad as the other room. We received breakfast in our room every morning at whatever time we nominated which consisted of boiled eggs, labneh, cucumber sticks, olives, bread rolls and manoush. This was very filling and kept us full for most of the day. Room was very spacious with a loungeroom and TV, room was cleaned every day with fresh towels, bottled water replenished daily, a fridge and coffee machine in the room. Rola was very friendly and happy to attend promptly to anything we needed and asked for. I would recommend this property however the only thing I was disappointed with was the falling bits of sandstone from the ceiling. They need to fix this problem."
"A quiet and a safe place. The owner and the guy who works there are so nice and polite.
I recommend staying there and I myself will book there for a few days later this month."
"We stayed in room 5 for 2 nights in May 2025. I have given it 5 stars for the view (the photos on expedia don't do it justice, i have attached some of the view from the room), it has a balcony plus location was great, 2 minutes walk to the restaurants on the front and walkable from the Old Souks area (though there are lots of golf carts as taxis). Room was clean and modern and breakfast at Rays exceptional. I would definitely stay there again but there are a couple of things to note: the parking charge was double that stated on Expedia. There is no kitchenette as stated, there is a (good sized) fridge and a kettle, no glasses or anything. Check in information was a bit confusing as you had to check in at Rays but when i asked initially the guy didn't seem to know anything but we got there in the end. But we had a great time and are definitely hoping to go back next time we are in Lebanon."
"This boutique hotel is charming from the minute you step into its garden gate. The staff is welcoming, very helpful and attentive to all our needs and more. The whole place, our room, amenities, attention to detail and the breakfast was to die for. The daily breakfast was fabulous. The sweetest lady chef and helpers prepared our omelets, fresh oregano pies, and special tea to perfection and much more. The bowl of fruits the day we arrived awaited us in our room and next day a bowl of cherries 🍒 was delivered to our room after we arrived in the afternoon.
We loved the room & little balcony that overlooked the church and port, the jacuzzi deck and view, and the lovely staff made it all even better. The male gentleman at the front desk Maroun also procured our ride back to Beirut the night before for a reasonable fare. We will be back and highly recommend this gem to family and friends. 5 star :)"
