"We stayed in this apartment block 2 years ago and this trip was intended as a repeat 1 month "live with the local" holiday. Due to health issues I was unable to go for the month but we did manage 18 nights and that combined with glorious weather, wonderful host and perfect apartment was everything we wanted. Marian is a wonderul lady and Dee and I would highly recommend her. Nothing was too much trouble for her. What more can we say. Don't hesitate, go and you wont regret it. Stephen & Dee"

"After some miscommunication which was quickly resolved, we arrived at the apartment and found it clean, well appointed and much more spacious than the photos suggest. The upstairs balcony makes for a great sun trap and we made great use of the hot tub. The availability of sky sports was also a great bonus. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would be happy to come back again. The apartment had everything we needed though next time we would definitely consider hiring a car due to the long walk...

"A really comfortable and relaxing stay in a beautifully positioned bungalow. It is close to the shopping centre and a 20 minute walk to town where there are many shops and restaurants to choose from. Everything you need is there, a real home from home. Communication with Lesley was very good and we would certainly come back."

"A nice flat in a great location. Great terrace with sun all day,but shaded seating area.Comfortable bed,good shower,plenty of linen/towels and well equipt kitchen.Could do with new Smart TV. Great location as literaly minutes from everything needed [supermarket,bars,shops,bus,taxi etc]. Marian an excellent host as speaks good English and French,communicated well and very professional. Downside was neighbours dogs.Property opposite had four dogs,left outside six days a week and barking...

A car here is essential, as the nearest restaurant is a 5 minute drive away, and nearest supermarket a 12 minute drive away. But the location is central for northern towns, villages and beaches."

To make this property better for UK visitors a Smart TV with Apps, Netflix, catch up programmes plus streaming would be best. The only programmes are all in German. "Finca El Lomo is a wonderful haven of peace in a noisy world. It is situated in the heart of the island yet only a 15 minute drive from the coastal towns and beaches. The hosts Linda and Hans keep the property in immaculate condition. They are always on hand to help but unobtrusive. A hire car is essential but it is an ideal base to tour the whole island. This place is a rare gem in a world of mass tourism!"

"Villa is very big, with a separate apartment attached. Huge grounds, absolutely massive garden area, and the pool area is really well maintained and laid out. Tennis courts were a great addition - provided somewhere to run around in before the heat came in the day. All the rooms were big, well maintained, and comfortable. If I came back to the island, I’d stay again. Central location so you can get everywhere pretty easily with a car."
