"The view was incredible! So magical. My daughters and I watched the sunrise over the bay every morning from the living room. On our last morning there was a family of deer grazing as we watched - it was so beautiful! The master bathroom is amazing. It was the perfect spot for family to gather for brunch before a wedding! "This is a charming pet friendly property which served our family getting together for a small reunion since our kids live in Annapolis. Very comfortable and spacious. Fire pit outside was wonderful to hang out at night and have a few drinks. about a mile down the road and a bit there is a very nice park on the beautiful bay. Kitchen good for making family meals with good appliances. HotTub was a nice added plus although it is more a WarmTub. Barbecue in the closed in back yard was great for cooking steaks. Washer/dryer a little goofy but we figured it out. Heating system was annoying because it changed every few hours back to 64 degrees and the house got pretty cold, had to keep resetting it back to 72 and the upstairs gets really really warm while the downstairs remains a bit colder for those bedrooms. Also something strange with the water since it feels really strange on your skin as you take a shower, and we assumed this was well water treatment of some sort since there are a number of chemical containers and tubes outside and in (we figured hot tub and some kind of water softener); so taking a shower just feel really odd, like the water was not able to be wiped off of us. A whole bunch of the lights also don't seem to be working and the internet went out a few times. Other than that the place is charming and we were comfortable there. "

"This is our second time staying at this house in March for a Women's conference. The house is spacious with many bathrooms. The large kitchen, dining room and living room made it great for having dinner together and for game night. We love this house! Look forward to staying again next March. Marc is great about getting back to you and is such a great host! "

"This place was perfect for our celebratory girls weekend. It was clean and well stocked. It was so comfortable and welcoming that several people chose to spend the night even though they live just down the street."

"House is really nice - spacious and nice for big groups with kids. But it wasn’t as clean as we expected based on previous reviews and some things could use some upgrading. There was a musty smell and the rugs and carpets need to be washed. The water or drains had a bit of a sewage smell (maybe it’s well water, not sure). Parking was a little tricky with more than 2 cars, but workable. The two king beds were very comfortable (although the master bedroom didn’t have blinds), but the queen bed wasn’t comfortable at all. The kids’ room with the bunk beds was really nice. The owner was responsive - sent an electrician out to fix the broken switch in the dining area the day after we arrived. But there were more than a few lightbulbs that were out and we had to replace those ourselves. There was a washer and dryer, which was nice. But the washer is very old, very loud and makes the whole house shake when it spins. Kitchen had nice appliances and was stocked with lots of cookware, so it was easy to cook for our large group. Overall, it’s a nice house and we would stay again after a deep clean and some upgrading. "
