"Quite a decent breakfast, including the fresh yogurt dispensing machine. The yogurt was very good and the topping choices were decent. Would have preferred fresh berries as an option for my yogurt parfait. The front desk staff (one person) was awful. She was cold and unhelpful."

"The hotel was more than excellent. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing, and the breakfast was nice too. When I am back in this area again this is where I wanna be."

"This seems to be one of the only hotels in clemson near the school. We came here to tour the school and stay a night. I was excited to use the pool and relax a bit as well. Unfortunately when we checked in - the young gentleman at the front desk basically had his airpods in and gave us our keys with no other words. I expected a bit more welcome and friendliness from the only hotel worker. The pool was barely opened as it was still a bit cooler but there were no towels available and nobody to help find any. The pool was freezing and the hot tub dirty. I had to go back to the front desk several times for wifi information, towels, and basic understanding of where things were. Just not what I had hoped for coming from a well known resort. Unfortunate as its situated in a beautiful area and I had hoped for a nice stay. Also, the bathroom was a bit dirty, porch out back very dirty with spider webs on the furniture and the room a bit dated. Could use some TLC for sure. "

"Door would not open. They had to make a special key to open the door AFTER they accused us of doing something to the door. Would not let us use the key for our stay No maintenance man on site. On site people incapable of helping. Do yourself a big favor and don’t stay here"

"The room, lobby, gym and common areas were very clean. I found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable. The downsides were the bar and breakfast. The bar wasn't very comfortable and the wine was terrible. We had to pay extra for the breakfast and on all 3 mornings of our stay, they ran out of eggs. Very little to choose from for a surcharge. "
