Comfort Hotel Xpress Tromso
Very friendly and helpful staff, check in and out process was smooth, room was very clean, hotel in a really good location (quite central). The only one less point from me is that there are no kettles in the rooms, so you have to go downstairs to get hot water to make tea or a hot drink.

I booked a superior room and boy was I glad I did. We were on the top floor, level 12 and the views over the water towards the mountains, Arctic cathedral, cable car were superb. Staff was very helpful, especially when my return flight was cancelled. Room was clean and the kitchen was well-equipped and the shower had plenty of hot water.

The property is fine for a base to visit Tromsø - clean and quiet, with a handy supermarket below. The WiFi is sketchy and we had to use mobile data instead, which was fast, and the bed was very soft and not overly comfortable.
