"Check in was very easy and staff were helpful. Parking was straightforward. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good. The centre of Bastone is 5 minutes walk away and there is a good selection of bars and restaurants"
The Eddy Lodge, a tiny house with a view of nature and a Nordic bath

"We spent a night in the Eddy Lodge on our way back home. It's in a quiet village in a farm setting. Parking is on a private driveway near the Lodge. The accommodation is a mini house with a double bed, kitchen/living room and a shower room, all overlooking the fields at the back of the farm. The immediate grounds are fenced in, which was useful as we had our dog with us. Overall, a comfortable night's stay."

"Great apartment - really clean and spacious. We only stayed one night but had everything we needed. Breakfast was good. Just note check in is in the restaurant which is on the otherside of the roundabout, this wasn't as clear until we arrived at the property."

"The hotel is located at a roundabout in the middle of nowhere. The location was mostly beneficial to us, as we wanted to visit different places that were all within a reasonable driving distance. (Luxemburg, Dinant, Rochefort, Bastogne, Namur.) The service was good and the rooms were nice. The breakfast was remarkably good, among the best i can recall in terms of quality, though the selection was somewhat limited. The lady arranging the breakfast was particularly nice. Dinner at the restaurant was also fantastic. The restaurant requires reservations for dinner, but they still accommodated us the first night when we were unprepared. This place almost felt like a hidden gem, particularly at this price, though that is likely due to location. Even so there were a few things that bothered us a bit: the rooms are not well ventilated and the heat in the summer was unpleasant, though we did get a fan to mitigate this. Three out of four mornings we were woken up by noise outside in the mornings (we had the windows wide open). One morning it was the music at the patio 0730, the next it was hedge trimming at 0830, then it was the truck delivering supplies at 0630. All of this by the hotels services, there was also a garbage truck and some road noise (the speed limit outside is 70kph), but that is more or less as expected. Shutting the windows mostly cut off the noise enough to go back to sleep for a while longer."

"most beautiful place where we have ever stayed !! the rooms were huge and the restaurant was the best we have had all in europe! There is a private court yard and it is a beautiful castle in a quiet little town. This is family owned and they are very nice ,sweet and hospitable. This will be our best kept fairy tale when we come back next year and for years to come. Makes us feel like royalty and the bathrobes and slippers and all the extra towels highly recommend this !!"
