In a 18th century building there is this large and elegant two-room apartment overlooking a picturesque square in the heart of the historic center of Tropea. It has been recently renovated, it is quiet and equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, independent heating, television, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave and small electric tools for the kitchen.
It can accommodate 4 adults as it has a double bedroom 1double bed for 2 persons and a baby bed

Excellent location.

Right in the old town, easy walk down to the beach or into village for dinner. Can use Tuk Tuk taxi for trip back up the hill. Large apartment with air conditioning. Helped me with WiFi. Will return in the future. Duncan and Val.

Un très bel appartement qui n'est cependant pas en accord avec la description qui en est faite

En vue de notre venue avec nos deux enfants de moins de deux ans, comme cela avait dès l'origine été signalé, nous recherchions un appartement facile d'accès en voiture de manière à poser nos bagages aisément, avec l'ensemble des commodités permettant de les accueillir. Notre dévolu s'est donc naturellement tourné vers cette annonce qui répondait à toutes nos attentes. En réservant, on nous a assuré la présence d'un parking à deux minutes à pied et d'au moins un lit parapluie. Toutefois, en arrivant à Tropea, une ville que nous ne connaissions pas, nous avons vite déchanté en constatant que seuls les véhicules autorisés pouvaient rejoindre le centre historique. Nous nous y sommes néanmoins engagés (sans succès, les routes étant trop étroites) sur les recommandations de la propriétaire qui nous a assuré que ces restrictions ne s'appliquaient qu'en été...au final, nous en avons eu pour une contravention bien salée et 20 minutes de marche avec enfants et valises sur le dos et au bout des bras après avoir rebroussé chemin ! En arrivant dans cet appartement très joli au demeurant (même s'il n'y a pas d'accès internet, aucun condiment pour cuisiner, et une clarté toute relative), nous n'avons là encore pu que constater qu'il n'y avait pas de lit parapluie ! Nos enfants ont donc partagé notre lit toute la semaine. Comble de l'histoire, bien qu'ayant prévenu dès le départ de la présence de mes enfants (un canapé-lit inadapté pour des enfants de cet âge-là avait d'ailleurs été préparé), nous avons reçu un appel nous demandant de payer une somme supplémentaire par jour et par enfant de moins de deux ans ! Je reste toujours dans l'expectative et espère ne pas être débité prochainement de cette somme, ce qui serait un scandale total. Enfin, nous étions venu pour la chaleur calabraise, nous avons été servi : le système de chauffage était bloqué en chaleur maximum toute la semaine sans possibilité de le modifier (que ce soit sur la chaudière ou le thermostat). En résumé, heureusement que notre séjour calabrais ne se résumait pas à la location de cet appartement !

Beautiful property

This is a lovely apartment in a great location. The furniture is comfortable and the bed is nice. However, it has very limited WiFi, we had to hold our device in a specific window to get one bar. The apartment does not have dedicated WiFi, you have to use the public city WiFi. We visited off season, so I don't know if the kitchen would have been stocked better if it was in the tourist season. There was no salt or olive oil, just a little bit of pepper. The property is beautiful and if you don't need internet or intend to cook it is perfect.
