"This guest house is like a hostel in many ways but with the creative use of one lot not a huge property as I thought it would be. We had booked a tent experience which is a screen tent, holding a bed, night tables, lamp and fan, below a roof and side walls. Our unit had a whole side section about 6ft without a barrier so we could see to the next tent, wooden slats around the tent are not together which lets air flow in but gives little privacy. "Highview is a quiet property but still close to the center. The kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for and my family and me very much enjoyed staying there. It's very spacious, so everyone can be in their own room or we can all hang out in the living room, enjoy the free Netflix and spend time together. "We came back to this property as we found it such a lovely place to stay. The owner is very welcoming, the property is clean, comfortable and quiet. It is also quite centrally located; Cairns is about 20 minutes, the Atherton tablelands about an hour and the daintree about an hour and a half away- all easy day trips. "Our stay here was pleasant . Good pressure from the shower , the aircon was perfect as the temperatures often reached mid/high 20s outside . The owners were lovely people and very accommodating to our requests etc . Within 5 minutes walk to eateries and convenience stores .
