"Desk staff and others were friendly. Not sure how old the hotel is, but it seemed very up to date and fresh. Rooms were clean as well as shared areas. The breakfast was pretty basic, but good enough to start the day. "

It’s immediately apparent a lot of care, planning and love went into the home. The proximity to the Porcupine Mountains is perfect. There are so many options for destinations for day trips as well. We loved it and hope to come back sometime soon. Highly recommend!"

"My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here! If you're looking for an amazing northwoods experience that transports you through time, look no further than this home. Historical artifacts and paintings litter the house and sitting at the great room with the beautiful fireplace you almost feel at any time john dillinger or al capone could walk through the door and sit down and have a drink with you. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays weve had. The home was clean, and had all the amenities you could want and fun things to do. Beautiful views and just overall fantastic stay. I went to school to teach history, so for me it was really a treat, and we'll be looking forward to our next trip back! "

"Very cute and cozy cabins. Simple. Had all the basics you could need for a weekend trip. We came out of season for some winter hiking and the waterfalls nearby. The guide in the room was informational about where things were and what we could do."
