"Overall a great place. This is an older building that has been well maintained. But as a 1970s building it is showing its age and era of architecture. On the flip side, it was much less expensive than most hotels we have stayed at on this trip and as a result there seem to be more locals, which was refreshing. The waterfront beach area is fantastic. Our bathroom light only worked intermittently but no big deal. A nice relaxing small town location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist cities. Breakfasts were good and outdoor seating very pretty."

"Large multipurpose resort, right on the water edge. Comfortable and clean rooms. Pool area was a little compact and bar staff very slow but it was out of season. Huge breakfast hall with plenty of options. easy 20min walk to the old town with additional water tax i and shuttle for 3 euro. Only criticism is letting guest know that the shuttle is in fact a gold cart style service and not a coach/van. We were waiting for it to depart and the cart sat next to us and watched us standing in the heat with luggage and didnt say anything before driving off."

"The location could not be better. It was a scenic 13 minute walk along the waterfront to the ferry dock and Old Town. The carpets/paint look a little tired but our two level room was VERY clean. A microwave would be nice to have. A hot breakfast was included with a lot of good choices. A spectacular view from restaurant/pool balcony. Would definitely return."

"From September 5th to 15th we vacationed in Croatia—specifically in the town of Podgora—at the lovely Hotel Medora. Our daughter, who lives in California, booked this trip for us. We would like to express our gratitude and warm appreciation to the hotel staff for their care and assistance—especially Zlatan for helping us resolve issues with our car; the reception team for being so attentive and polite regarding our requests; the housekeeping staff for keeping our room spotless; and the restaurant team—the head chef, waiters, and manager—for the incredibly delicious and varied food (hot dishes, cold options, and salads). The desserts were true works of art—everything was incredibly tasty and wholesome. This was our first time vacationing on the Makarska Riviera; The beach was wonderful, featuring crystal-clear seawater, stunning scenery, and excellent, clean facilities. We wish Hotel Medora continued prosperity and business success. We wholeheartedly recommend it as the best holiday hotel on the entire Makarska Riviera coast. ❤️ With sincere regards and respect, Alla’s parents —Janos and Anna."

"Well located hotel; short walk to Old Town, restaurants and shops. It's an old hotel but quite typical for the area and island. Staff were helpful; breakfast buffet was not that great compared to other hotels on our trip. The hotel was very kind to allow us the use of the pool & showers after check out while we waited for our late afternoon ferry. We would recommend this hotel for a visit to Korcula."

"Clean, excellent location, friendly staff. Lovely grounds. Great breakfast but a shame that you had to purchase drinks at dinner and couldn’t bring water in, not provided for free. The dinner quality could also be better."
