"The hotel was a super convenient location and the staff was pleasant. The hotel is historic which comes with challenges - the window leaked quite a bit during a rather large storm, but the shower also poured water each time it was used. The rooms are very tiny, but that was obvious before booking. We unfortunately were not given the king bed we paid for, and it was not acknowledged until I went down and asked."

"Loved this hotel. Our room was charming with a small living room—-perfect so an early bird can read while his wife sleeps, without waking her. The bathroom was small but had plenty of towel racks. The hotel is perfectly located near the downtown plaza and a parking garage was convenient."

"Beautiful venue and rooms. Given the elevation of the rooms, we were able to enjoy spectacular sunsets. One of the most comfortable hotel beds we have experienced. We loved having indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Bishop’s Lodge location felt like the best of both worlds, being only ten minutes from the center of town. The staff were lovely and friendly. However, it felt like this was their first rodeo - we experienced a few snafus. Having met the GM, as well as the Head of Operations of the property, I have little doubt service will only improve. Not an issue of desire to please, just experience. The venue is therapeutic in its own right."
