Near lots of wineries, so no whining… just winning!
Was perfect location for meeting up with friends in area, & friends on way to Niagara Falls. Perfectly located to hit up wineries on Seneca and Cayuga lake.
Was lovely to spread out in and on property with BBQ and quiet pool.
We had a great week at the White Gazebo. There were 11 of us -- from age 1 through 71 -- and there was room for all in this lovely home. Christine was an excellent host and very responsive when we had questions. Trumansburg is a nice little town with plenty to do. We bowled and went to the farmers market and the fair, but we mostly relaxed around the pool and on the patio, enjoying family time together. We highly recommend the White Gazebo!
We had a wonderful time at the white gazebo! Our group consisted of two families each with small children and one older couple. The setup was really perfect for us. Everyone had a space and we were all very comfortable. The house was very clean and well taken care of. We had everything we needed there! We especially LOVED the pool! So glad it was safely fenced in too! There's a great playground at a school across the street and the town is walking distance. This was a perfect place for us and we hope to visit again in the future! And can't forget Christine, our host was very responsive.
The White Gazebo was simply great for our family vacation. The place is beautiful-house, cottage and pool are tip-top. Excellent location in a beautiful part of New York State where there is so much to do and see. Thank you Christine and Chris.
The White Gazebo is great for a family vacation! Plenty of space both indoors & out. Home is just as advertised with super pool & well equipped kitchen. Extremely clean property! Close to wineries & hikes to waterfalls! Would enjoy staying again sometime!
We had an amazing stay at the White Gazebo! We were there for a family wedding and then vacation. There were 8 adults and 3 young children and we had more than enough room. The place was nicely stocked with all essential kitchen and cooking needs. We absolutely loved sitting on the covered porch and using the pool. The location was great to visit all the surrounding waterfalls and wineries.
We would absolutely stay there again.
Our overall stay at The White Gazebo was wonderful! The proximity to Seneca and Cayuga Lake was fabulous, as well as all the wineries/breweries/restaurants located near them. Even when not touring the falls, hiking, etc., The White Gazebo is supreme for relaxation. Our family truly enjoyed, the house, the cottage, the pool and all of the yard games provided. Our party of adults, plus one infant, would not hesitate to revisit The White Gazebo again!
The house, pool and grounds served as a prefect spot with plenty of space for all 11 members of our family to enjoy various types of activities. The pool was a hit with the grandkids and we took every opportunity to help them develop their swimming skills.
The property is beautiful and well maintained. The bedrooms, with the cabin, were adequate to comfortably accommodate our family. The owner prepared a folder with detailed information and promptly answered our questions. The pool was a welcome addition, particularly during this hot summer! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the White Gazebo!
This was a great place for our first summer vacation to the finger lakes. The pool and grill were a great touch. We would explore the park/lakes in the morning and come back and swim/grill. It’s close to a lot of nice wineries. The house is big enough for a family and very cozy. We spent most of our time on the outside patio! The cottage is adorable and was a perfect place to sleep at night.
Thank You Christine for hosting my families reunion with four of our daughters that live across the country. Your property, house , and especially the pool for such a hot week was ideal. The house is soo close to everything in T-Burg, grassroots, and the finger lakes yet the property has a feel of being in our own private world. Your place will leave all of us with special memories that will last a lifetime.
Our family of 10 who traveled from NC and FL had a wonderful 7 night stay at the White Gazebo Inn. In addition to the main home, we rented the cottage. This allowed for ample space for all.
We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces; the large covered patio was a perfect setting for dinners and allowed us to eat outside even when the rain came. The pool was a bonus, although a little cold for our southern blood, we still enjoyed it!
The White Gazebo Inn was also a great location to explore the many waterfalls and wineries we had on our itinerary for the week. Christine, the owner even provided passes for us to get free parking to some of the sites we visited.
I give our stay an A++ and would highly recommend The White Gazebo Inn for any family looking to explore the Finger Lakes Region in a private home in the heart of all the region has to offer.
Our family had a very relaxing and enjoyable week in Trumansburg. We were very pleased with the house , yard and pool. The main house has four bedrooms with very comfortable beds. We slept 7 people in 4 beds comfortably. The cottage at pool side was not available to us. It looked smaller than we expected, but we did not need it. It rained off and on and the covered patio was perfect for gatherings of friends and family. The location is perfect for a short walk to ice cream or to dinner in the main village. Christine was very nice and I was able to text her with any questions. I recommend this home.
We had 5-6 adults and 3 children staying in both the house and the cottage! We enjoyed the large yard and pool for games and activities. We are a gaming/puzzle family so the kitchen table doubled as a game table after dinner and the dining room was a perfect puzzle table. The parlor off the Master bedroom is in the middle of the house where our 4 and 8 yr olds were sleeping. Totally thought they'd get woken up from noise...but with the bathroom fan on it was actually very quiet in there. The cottage was small but had what we needed - another bed and a close bathroom during pool time. Trumansburg is a cute town and Ithaca is very close. We enjoyed Trimmers Ice Cream and Not Your Dad's Ice Cream, both in town. We travelled short distances for Museum of the Earth, Ithaca Children's Garden, Ithaca Bakery and the Trumansburg Golf Course. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Definitely a great homebase for activities and a great place to spend time with family and friends!
My grandchildren, daughter and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful property! It's close to town, a playground, an ice cream venue, restaurants, etc. Will definitely consider renting again! And the owner was fabulous!
Very pretty home and well decorated nice location and pool was awesome
We had a wonderful trip I would recommend staying at this property

Wonderful vacation spot!
My husband and I spent a week at the White Gazebo Inn joined for most of the time by our daughters, son-in law and granddaughters. The house, pool and grounds were all lovely and spacious, and Christine & Chris provided everything we needed as well as leaving detailed instructions for everything in the house. Location of the property was also excellent with easy access to the lake, hiking, food shopping, wineries etc. Thank you Christine and Chris and we hope to return in the not-too-distant future!

This is a wonderful, quiet, gem.
Christine is wonderful, honest and reasonable. She was incredibly accommodating, and her check-in liaison (Terry) was a joy! The property is quiet and spacious, a glorious respite! The pool alone is worth the price of admission. Glorious and historic, yet modern enough to fulfill everyone's needs. Easily handled our group of 10 (including the pool house) without any sense of crowding...and the sweet covered patio, with grand tables and a grill centered our meals and social activities. Walking the edges of the property is so quietly comforting. All ten of us wish we were there right now! Thank you so much Christine.

We loved this house!
This beautiful home and setting exceeded all of our expectations. We were in the Finger Lakes for a family wedding and wanted to find a place that we could be together, but still have our own space. The house is very inviting and the furniture is comfortable. The decorating is lovely and the space was more than we had hoped for. I don't think anyone spent anytime in the living room or formal dining room because we all enjoyed being together in the breakfast room and family room. Two of the groom's Aunts came (on from CA and one from NE) and it was nice that they could have the upstairs bedrooms and bat all to themselves. We went to Ithaca to pick them up at the airport and stopped by Wegman's Food Store, which was a real shopping experience for them. We ended up going there 3 days in a row. There is a food store, liquor store, ice cream and other shops and restaurants less than a half mile from the house. We had dinner at "Little Venice" in Trumansburg two nights in a row. It is only a 10 minute walk. My son and his fiance went to the "Rongo" and enjoyed the live music (they bought a CD of the group that was playing). After the reception, on Saturday afternoon we had about a dozen people stop by for dessert. Everyone raved about the house. The Gazebo was a perfect setting for more pictures. Sunday we made arrangements to take a tour and do a wine tasting at Heart and Hands Winery. It is on the other side of Cayuga Lake in Union Springs. Great tour and great wine! My favorite spot was on the covered patio where I had my coffee every morning. I was hoping to see some deer, and two fawns walked through the yard a few times. The pool and covered patio saved the day when the grandchildren came. We were able to cook, drink and relax and still keep an eye on all of them. There is plenty of yard space for fun and games. A also wanted to mention that the kitchen is so well stocked with dishes, glasses and every appliance (blenders, food processors, crock pot, etc.) you could want. I would love to stay here again on any future trips.

Beautiful property with pool - walk to restaurants, live music and shopping in Trumansburg
Our group was made up of 4 adults and 3 children aged 8,9 and 14 coming from Canada and France.
Arrival was super easy - Christine provided key less entry code which gives you and your group the flexibility of arriving at time convenient to you. During the stay, it also made it easy to have people do what they wanted without worrying of who would have the key and time meeting back at the house. Christine called us to check everything was ok.
The pictures on the website are a true representation of the house - the terasse / covered patio sat our group of 7 very easily and it was a godsend the nights were we had rain. We could still enjoy dinner outside. The kitchen is small and a bit dark (no windows) but very functional - you have everything you need to cook meals for a large family/group - bbq, pizza, there is even a s'mores maker and a ice cream maker - plenty to bake as well - not that we had time to.
Conveniently there is a grocery store and a wine store less than 5 minutes by car. There is a gas station within walking distance if your forgot milk. You can walk to Trumansburg to restaurants. Ithaca is 20 minutes away by car. There is a school across the street with tennis courts, basket. All courts and a large play ground for kids.
We kept busy for the all week between swimming in the pool to start or end the day and exploring this wonderful region. We hiked the trail to Taughannock falls state parks - 1.6 miles there and back. Then we hiked Robert Treman state park with Lucifer falls. We enjoyed dinners at little Venice in Trumansburg - they will take you gladly for dinner until 10pm. We enjoyed live music at the Rongovian Ambassy. We visited Ithaca, Cornell university. We had lunch at dano's Heuriger on Seneca and tasted local wines from Ravine's, Damiani's, Wagner, Standing stone's vineyards. We even enjoyed the local fair held in Trumansburg at the end of August. One our last day, part of our groups visited Watkings Glen state park while we had to sadly head back to Toronto.
We will be back to the finger lakes area and based on group size would likely stay at Christine's house again. It is central and within short distance from everything. A perfect location to visit and enjoy what the finger lakes have to offer. I can't believe we live so close (less than 5 hrs) and had never visited.
Thank you Christine for your wonderful hospitality and sharing your beautiful property with us. We enjoyed it tremendously. The Delivuk & Perez families.

Beautiful property and kind owner!!!
The owner went out of her way to SAVE our family vacation after the property we had originally booked was unexpectedly not available. We lucked out! White Gazebo Inn is a beautiful place, with lovely old evergreens and a historic barn and gazebo. The beds were very comfortable, and the layout of the house allowed flexibility in our sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is well-stocked, and opens to an eating nook and family room with TV, which was perfect for the kids on lazy mornings. The pool is awesome, large and and well-maintained with room to lounge about in the sun or shade. The nearby cottage is very cute and well-suited to a couple. We enjoyed nightly dinners on the lovely outdoor terrace, badminton on the expansive lawn, and tennis at the high school across the street. The location is very convenient in downtown Trumansburg, but it feels like you are out in the country. We loved the frozen custard within walking distance of the house, great NY pizza, and Taughannock Falls just down the road. The owner is wonderful, even making an extra trip to the post office during our stay to retrieve our package. Thank you, Christine!
