"We have been here at this Excellent Hotel two years ago. This was a 6 night stay and just loved it. Wow, the King room on the lobby floor was just as great as last time. The room is very spacious, the TV is Huge, and the cleaning staff did a wonderful daily job. The room had a very comfortable armchair. The Soap dispensers are a great idea. We ate at in the restaurant for 4 nights and the serving staff were great. We had a wonderful hot Breakfast every morning. The only thing we would want is a Freezer in the fridge. But we had a fridge and microwave. We will be back again."

"The staff were extremely helpful, professional and approachable. My TV was not working and the maintenance guy persevered to provide a replacement unit, which worked. It was much appreciated. The staff in the restaurant and on reception were all excellent."

"The house itself is older, but that is what makes it charming. Although we came in late and had to leave early Marla was quite accommodating and we did our best to be quiet and not disturb anyone. Delicious waffles for breakfast and the table setup was like something from 75 years ago. Delightful stay not far from the downtown and Halifax airport make it very convenient. "
