"This is the lodge on the property of Tsavo West national park (safari). It is of the high quality accommodation with an opportunity to see the wild life and game directly from the room's balcony and the terrace of the restaurant. Two water holes attract various species such as zebras, giraffes, antilopes, elephants and water buffaloes. Having a breakfast with a view of the mountains and the flat bush country with the wild life/game in it is what we came to Kenya for. We were able to arrange game...

"Just wonderful. You will not find this level of service even in Mombasa and Nairobi hotels. The staff is amazing as are the culinary creations from the on-site restraunt. There is nothing I can say negative about this experience. In the jungle living like a king. To those who expect National Geographic please set your sites lower. While you will see plenty of African animals the king of the jungle is elusive."

"I would highly recommend staying at Kipalo Hills:
Breath taking views, faultless service, wonderful food, lovely pool.
We had brilliant game drives with Simon and Joshua in Tsavo East and a night game drive in the conservancy where we saw a leopard!
The only fault was there was no WiFi. For the whole 3 days - we asked everyday but head office had not paid the bill!! This caused my husband to worry as he hadn’t heard from me and it could have easily been rectified.
However, this is is a...

"What a joke this place was. Worst place have ever stayed, anywhere, including Africa. Firstly, no address provided, as they don’t have one. Tried to request address by email. No reply. The day of checking in, tried to call to get their address, multiple times. Firstly reckoned there was no booking. Then refused to answer the calls. Arrived in Voi late evening, managed to phone them to get directions to the place, up a rough dirt track which was impossible to follow. Finally sent a person on a...

"The lodge is well built and has beautiful surroundings. You get to see some wild animals as you eat or relax in their common areas. They have all the amenities you would need on a safari trip."

"The animals truly do walk by this location OFTEN! As soon as I checked in I saw elephants, giraffes, monkeys, and zebras with the first hour. Sitting in your own private pool to view the wildlife was the cherry on top.
Even though you're in a secluded area, Manyatta Camp offers extremely reasonable prices for their food and drinks. You can always walk to Voi Wildlife Lodge for more options and viewing opportunities.
Lastly, the staff here will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is...

"Staff was friendly and personable from front desk to housekeeping. Thank you especially to Gideon and Emmanuel for making a great stay extra special.
Beautiful grounds to stroll and admire flowers and monkeys and birds. Dated bathroom with poor water pressure is the only negative; would happily stay for weeks despite this. "

Waking up to hear the sound of birds greeting the sun was so memorable. I loved my stay, and think others would too."
"I loved my 1 night stay at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amboseli National Park. The lodge itself is located just outside of the NP, but they conveniently have a buffet-style restaurant inside the park. We were pleasantly surprised that all of meals, including our lunch in the restaurant inside the park, were included in our nightly fee. The facilities are fabulous, the food is excellent, and the staff is wonderful. "
"Extemely angry at our treatment at this hotel. Would recomend avoiding at all costs. We did not want food during our stay and brought are own however the staff made food anyway and guilt tripped us into eating it. We then asked for costs or prices and were told the food was free and inclusive to our stay. Sadly this was a complete a lie and at checkout they tried to charge us 25 pounds a person for each meal. Even the small pack lunches with half a sandwich and an apple. The staff then lied and were extremely unproffesional and the manager looked like a teenager they even tried to overcharge our safari guide. This place is a complete scam

Having a breakfast with a view of the mountains and the flat bush country with the wild life/game in it is what we came to Kenya for. We were able to arrange game drives directly from the lodge - they have a whole fleet of jeeps specifically designed to accommodate rough conditions of safari terrain. Our guide William is the professional naturalist with an encyclopedic knowledge of the safari life. There wasn't a single question that he didn't give an exhaustive answer to.
Since the property is located in the national park we had to enter the park no later than 6 pm. We were driving from the southern resort in Diani Beach on the very congested road and could only get to the park at the midnight. We contacted the lodge and the service agent by the name Dorkas made all the arrangements for ranger if the park to open the gates and finally check us in at 1 am."
"A very nice property with stunning natural scenes. We saw elephants every evening because there's a waterhole in front of the dinning area. Staff are friendly and attentive. Considering its rate is much lower than those accommodations inside of Tsavo but still easily to access to the largest national park in Kenya, it's a very cost-effective stay."
