"3rd time staying here as we loved this place, but was very disappointed this time, stayed 11 nights, they changed the check in time from 2pm to 4pm, a villa that sleeps 4, there was only 3 cups and 2 big plates,grounds and pool not maintained, pool was always dirty, rarely had the filters running and not cleaned at all during our stay,not once did a cleaner come to the villa, I had to ask for clean towels and linen and change the beds ourselves, also had to get own cleaning materials, no cloths,...

"The overall stay was enjoyable but the villa was advertised as 'luxury' and we feel this isn't quite the case. The area in which the villa is situated is lovely, secluded and quiet but within the villa its self the kitchen is under equipped with the bare minimum utensils, pots, pans etc. There were no 'pantry' items at all tea, coffee, salt, herbs, etc The patio furniture was very old and cushion covers were ripped. There was definately a problem with ants in the villa especially in the upstairs...

"requested single beds in one of the rooms the host said they would do that but didn't get them, had to use the pull out bed in the living room so had to request extra bedding, there was nothing at all for us to do any cleaning, had to get the maintenance in as we had no hot water, and only one key so this was a problem if we went out in two groups, the site was not kept as clean as it was when we have previously stayed there, but saying that we like the apartment and the area it was in."

"Lovely villa, spotlessly clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities, the outside pool was great and very welcoming. Maria the host was very communicative and her cleaning team were very efficient and accommodating. We had one minor issue with the water supply but this was fixed immediately and effectively. The villa is in a great location for all restaurants, bars, shops and the beach and we would highly recommend Villa Margie, a great place to chill out and relax."

"Great family run hotel in a great location. Rooms have been recently renovated so modern, fresh, clean. I stay in lots of hotels with work and the one thing this place has done better than most is the noise proofing. Obviously it’s not silent but with the typical Greek island noise outside you don’t really hear it so well done. Breakfast is more than enough. Hot and cold items, fruit, yoghurt, pastries. Pool area is good for the hotel size, can run out of loungers occasionally but still enough room to sit on tables and chairs and room is never far away. Staff are all very friendly. The only thing that’s missing is a no room service tag to hang on the door. Saves them disturbing you when you are trying to have a lie in. Would stay again."

"Hotel staff was very friendly. 3 buffet meals a day had enough for the pickiest of eaters to someone with a more adventurous appetite. Local beer, wine, spirits, coffee, and water available all day. Snacks available in between buffet meals. It was walking distance to everything in town. If you get a split level room it’s a bit of a hike up to the top or two elevators to get there but definitely worth the hike. Rooms were quiet, peaceful views. We will definitely use this location again!"
