Walkable (via outside) distance from the airport. They have a special check-in and check-out machines at the front desk to prevent the virus contact, and an English-speaking staff helped me using the machine. Cozy room with a card key. One unhappy thing (not related directly to the hotel) was that the cashier at the convenience store (FamilyMart) on the ground floor of the hotel's property—I encountered two young girl as a cashier at different time, and both of them didn't speak English at all....

The hotel features large updated rooms with windows on the bay so it is delightful watching the sun rise and moon from the comfort of your room. The hot baths are excellent. The dinners and breakfasts vary every day and are both outstanding. The price for all this is reasonable. And, let’s not forget the free shuttle to the train station. I felt that staff was over worked and I’m not sure if there were enough staff people.

If you like Japan this hotel should be on your bucket list. Located right on the beach in Minamichita and within walking distance to several nice restaurants. Our room had a spectacular sea view. We had dinner at the Seaside Capri restaurant next door. The waiter had an Ipad with a picture menu for us. Being a typical Japanese Ryokan you change into a yukata. Upon our arrival, an employee greeted us and helped with luggage. The public area was elegant and displayed so many beautiful artwork and antiques. Being at the top of a hill and by the ocean/bay, the view was gorgeous especially during cherry blossom season.
