"It was simply stunning!!! From the pick up at the airport to arriving at the hotel, everything was seamless and easy. We absolutely loved our stay here and would 100% recommend. The property is beautiful, the staff is excellent, the rooms are lovely, and we enjoyed all of our meals here. Truly a beautiful place and has the best trip."

"I enjoyed,my stay at Vaa I te Moana. Cynthia is a gem! She is so warm, welcoming and helpful. She directed me to a nearby grocery and gave recommendations for dinner. She arranged for an excursion to the Blue Lagoon with less than 24 hours notice. Her pancakes are fantastic. Breakfast every day was simple but filling and good. The bungalow was exceptionally clean. I had, in my opinion, the best view as I was on the end. Unfortunately I had to sacrifice good wifi connection for that view, but it's ok. It was quiet being on the end. Go out at night and view the plethora of stars. Amazing! Maruuru!"

8/10 Good
"The "cabins" are very crude. They don't have AC and are very dated. Having said that, it cooled off nicely in the cabin. There are gaps below door and around windows. If you are prepared for crude then it will be a good stay. You are right by the ocean and very quiet. There are bikes, kayaks and standing boards available for use. The meals were very good too. It was a good experience. Just don't expect fancy at all. "
