Amazing City And Mountain Views From The Foothills Of The Catalinas

Fully furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Santa Fe Style hillside casita, with incredible views of the mountains and the city of Tucson. The guesthouse is fully furnished, including a clothes washer and dryer, and is located in the foothills of the Catalinas, at the base of Mount Lemmon. Our guesthouse is located on a three acre property, is surrounded by Saguaros, Ocotillo, and desert wildlife, and has a private patio with a private hot tub.

Arizona National is the closest golf course and is only a 5-10 minute drive from our casita. The closest shopping center is 5 miles (10 minutes) away, according to Google Maps. The drive up to Mount Lemmon starts only minutes away and leads to hiking, cycling, mountain biking, camping, fishing, scenic overlooks, and skiing (depending upon the season and the weather). By car, downtown Tucson is 36 minutes away, and The University of Arizona is 29 minutes away (both according to Google Maps).

The guesthouse is designed to accommodate up to 2 people using the king size bed, but we may be able to accommodate a couple with a small child, as well. Please contact us about this situation ahead of any requests for booking.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Convenient to Mt Lemmon for hiking and exploring. Not very far of a drive to downtown. Restaurants and groceries within 5 miles.

Perfection!

This casita was perfect for my husband and I. The laundry on site was so incredibly helpful. The views are amazing., the architecture of the casita is adorable :) The amenities are great - form the hot tub, to the shower, to the electric cooking plate. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Tucson again.

I enjoyed all aspects of this stay. The Casita was kept in great condition and everything worked inside. The owner was very accommodating and responsive to my messages. Quiet piece of paradise

Unit exactly as described and shown in list. The area is so peaceful, close to needed amenities for food and the like. Ideally situated for visiting the local parks, canyons and the National Park. Easy day trip to San Xavier Mission, Tubac or Tombstone. Couldn’t have found a better place to spend a week in the Tucson area. Hot tub and stunning sunsets are a nice bonus!

Lovely Casita, perfect for 2.

This was our second stay and we already booked next year. The casita is quiet, private and clean. Best clean hot tub ever! Michael and Alajandra are very responsive and kind. This time they even helped rescue our dead rental vehicle. Above and beyond. We love the location and views too.

Perfect get away for R&R

The property was in perfect repair. From the the hot tub to the bathroom everything was totally clean! Very comfortable bed and linens. Kitchen was well appointed. We like to cook and had everything we needed for meal prep. Loved the views from the kitchen, living room/dining room and hot tub. Very safe! Private drive. Quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood was great for long walks. Easy access to Mount Lemmon. Owners were readily accessible without being intrusive in any way. Very welcoming when we arrived

The comfortable casita provided a fantastic base to explore the Tucson area. The hosts were very helpful when needed but otherwise we didn't even know they were there. It was wonderful to explore all day and then return to the casita to enjoy the sunset from the hot tub. And it was wonderful too to wake up to the sounds of coyotes howling and to take an early morning stroll with javelinas in the brush. And then drive down to South Tucson for the best carne asada and horchata. Wonderful, simply maravilloso.

Had an amazing time staying here. It was clean, comfortable, and exactly what was needed from our everyday in the city. The views are amazing at night and during the day. The home came equipped with everything needed plus more. The owners response to anything needed was very prompt. It was absolutely beautiful and I plan on coming back!! One thing I wish the place came with were a few throw blankets. Thank you very much, you have a beautiful home and I felt blessed to be able to have this experience!!

Perfect in Every Way

Michael and Alejandra were the perfect hosts. No issues with communication in any way. Alejandra greeted us when we arrived, we met Michael on the day that we left. The casita was immaculate with all the amenities described with a well equipped kitchen. Located next to their home, it was a very private setting, exactly what we wanted/needed. The location is very quiet with lots of wildlife, especially in the morning with a beautiful view of the sunsets. The casita is located close to the base of the Catalina mountains with a short drive to Mt. Lemmon (about 30 degrees cooler there). We're already discussing a return visit because we loved it there.

Spectacular Views

We stayed 9 days in this beautiful casita while exploring and hiking in the surrounding area. The home is nestled in the foothills, providing stunning views to enjoy morning coffee and evening sunsets. Inside, the casita has everything you need for the comforts of home. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking; we made the majority of our meals there while enjoying the views from the kitchen window. We worked a few days during our trip and the wifi was reliable and fast, both inside and outside on the patio. Michael and Alejandra have provided a truly impressive variety of books to suit anyone's reading taste! Other favorite features: the amazing shower, the hot tub, the bird watching and peace and quiet. We can't wait to come back! Check in/check out were easy and straightforward. Catalina Foothills Tranquility

It was perfect. One of the most peaceful vacations I have had, watching the sunrises and sunsets in the beautiful Sonoran desert foothills of Mt. Lemmon. Wonderful vacation.

We are golfers. We can access many golf courses, and enjoy the hot tub after a round. Nearby Safeway and many restaurants. We’ve stayed five times. Will come back again if we can.

Wonderful stay!

This was our second time staying at Michael and Alejandra’s wonderful casita and it was just as amazing as our first visit! The casita is very comfortable, private and exceptionally clean, with breathtaking views and an amazing spa to relax in after our days spent hiking. A wonderful Experience

The house, shower, patio, hot tub and views are terrific. The owner's wife and the owner are lovely people and couldn't have made us feel any more welcome. We will return again, if we can make the open dates work for us.
