"Hosts were very easy to work with, prompt responses and accommodated special services, arranged a massage and charcuterie tray with wine for New Years Eve. Quick access to park entrance and I appreciate that its a gated resort. Nice little hiking trails on site to let the doggo stretch her legs, too....views of the canyon are exveptonal. Highly recommend Doves Rest!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is private and we loved seeing the animals. Our cabin was super cozy. We slept great while we were there and we enjoyed all of the little extra touches provided by Andrea our host. The location is perfect. We enjoyed the town of Canyon and hiking Palo Duro. The Lumberyard was a fun dining experience. We loved the Monte Christo Eggrolls! The weather turned too cold to hike so after church in Canyon we went to breakfast at Over Eze in Amarillo and shopped at the mall. Then we came back to our cozy cabin & watched movies. It was a much needed, fun, get-a-way!"

"Really enjoyed the location being a bit out of town yet close to everything. The canyon just down the road a bit and town within minutes. Perfectly situated for enjoying sunrises and sets. Beds and linens are very comfortable with a great selection of pillows. Kitchen well outfitted. Baths are conveniently located to the sleeping areas. The living area is perfect for winding down after a day in the canyon. The whole house is comfortable and the decor fitting for the panhandle. Arron & Joshua are very accommodating and helpful hosts. Definitely would stay again"

"My stay was spectacular. 1000/10. The pictures doesn't capture the beauty of this stay. We stayed for two days and honestly my stay at the boxcar was the best part of the trip. If you are second guessing go for it! Friendly dogs and beautiful horses as well. Becky also gave suggestions on things to do, she keeps the place clean comfy. she’s really a super host! Again 1000/10 definitely recommend!"
