Waterfront Cabin w/ Kayaks & Fire Pit on Flanders Pond

"We had a very nice stay here. The place worked well for our family of 5, had everything we needed for meals and enjoying the lake. The lake was absolutely wonderful and was everything we hoped for. Enjoyed the 2 kayaks (a 1 person and a 2 person kayak), swimming and the beautiful sunsets from the deck. The fire pit was great to have and we used it most nights. The washer/dryer was also helpful to have and worked well. We really liked the location: quiet and remote, and only about 30 minutes to Schoodic Point and about 45 to Acadia. The lake was quiet when we were there but imagine it could get more active in later Summer months. But the house is surrounded by trees and somewhat isolated from neighbors. The only minor issue we had was some difficulty with the WiFi/internet at times- may have been the rain, or too many people trying to use at the same time. The property manager responded very quickly to resolve and called the internet provider right away to make sure there were no issues. Overall we loved our time there and hope to return some day!"

"Perfect, peaceful location. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the Kayaks as well as the the ATV trail. Close to Acadia and nice hike to top of Schoodic mountain!"

"We had the best time staying here! Very dog friendly and that’s something we always look for. We enjoyed Bon fires, grilling and enjoying the beautiful view from the balcony’s. It’s perfect distance to get into town to get groceries ,and not a far drive to Bar Harbor to enjoy the town and hikes. The host was wonderful and very easy to communicate with. Whenever we come back to the area we will plan on staying here!"
