We were pleasantly delighted at our north shore leg of our trip. Very accommodating staff and wonderful Victorian home. The Inn is also a deliciousrelaxing restaurant
The historical gardens in the village was a plus.

Great staff and room was nice. Stayed at ARI after getting off ferry from Yarmouth. Other then the long drive(90 mins), inn was very comfortable. Breakfast was smal, but good.

Fine hotel because of ceramic plates and real silverware. No plastic! Can you imagine that to-day? Go to Kingston, Nova Scotia and see it. Congratulations to this hotel. It is more work to clean real silverware and ceramic plates but it is so much better for our environement to produce less trash and to keep good eating manners.
Beside of that everything was so good : comfort, friendly staff, cleaniness, price, ...

The room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine. Really this older; yet, refurbished motel was comfortable and clean. So, 5 star except for: would have liked a sheet change every 2 days; but, no sheet change during our 4 day stay, only 1 window to open in the unit, and couldn't since it had no screen, intermittently loud refrigerator had to be shut off at night. Didn't care for heavy bed spread, since doubted it was washed often. Otherwise, fabulous responsive owner, great location...
