"The only fault that couldâ€™ve been better is the washer/dryer had an odd smell- and when used (with washing powder) the clothes came out smelling the same as the machine which was very unpleasant. So this could do with possibly cleaning?"

"We absolutely loved our break away and will definitely be visiting again The hosts had thought of everything. A lovely welcome package including a bottle of wine and chocolate as well as milk and bread. Very thoughtful. The host greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly. Our 15month old had just learnt to walk and loved the spacious lodge to run around in. He also loved being able to see the cows from the room he slept in! Thank you so much "

"Our second stay here. The lodge is beautiful, clean and well equipped. The setting and location is beautiful, quiet, peaceful, itâ€™s just perfect."

"Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. Basic utensils, no wine glasses but did have a gravy boat 😁 comfortable beds, met by the pleasant host, all in all fine "

"Was a fab chilled week away. Watching shooting stars from the hot tub was awesome. Great location for national trust visiting and other historic places or if you wanted shopping there were towns for that. The lodge had everything you need. Downsides minor.. tv not having any signal but we knew our Netflix account so could watch that. People walking their dogs at night round the back of lodge with their torches when youâ€™re in hot tubâ€¦ frightens the life out of you!! ðŸ¤£"

"The lodge is beautiful!! From the grounds the lodge is on to the Quooker tap in the kitchen we couldn't fault anything. The hot tub was amazing to come and sit in after a day of exploring. The kitchen had every thing you needed even a kettle incase you didn't get on well with the Quooker tap. The rooms were spacious and had plenty of space, the living room/kitchen/dining room had plenty of space so everyone could be together and my niece could run around."

"This is a lovely hotel in an amazing cbtesk location in the city. We were going to an event at the City Hall which is just 5 min walk away. It’s got plenty of restaurant choices in easy walking distance and is situated in a lovely part of the city on the edge of the lovely Peace Garden. The staff were friendly and the hotel lobby and bar are really nice as was our bedroom. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking but has a deal with a large car park 5min walk away at a discounted rate. "
