Probably the best equipped home we have ever stayed in. Well stocked kitchen, super comfortable. Could have cooked almost anything we wanted with all the cookware available and knives were actually sharp! Almost unheard of in this kind of accommodation. Thanks

Such a lovely place to stay. Highly recommend this place, I will keep it in mind next time we visit. Very clean and tidy with everything we required. Even had towels and bedding provided which made packing much easier! Fairly close to the shops which was handy. Our car broke down on the way there but we were able to hire a vehicle from the local mechanic so we could still go up Whakapapa to ski. Only about a 45 minute drive to the snow which was handy with three younger kids.

Great stay and not far from Tongariro

Stayed here for 3 nights. Absolutely enjoyed it. The place was very cosy, a very well equiped kitchen and house. Id come back here again.

Check-in was perfect and hassle-free. The place was spotless, with neat, tidy rooms and linen and towels that were super clean and fresh-smelling. The fireplace was stacked and ready to use, which made it feel extra cosy.We really appreciated the new cutlery and crockery — a lovely touch. The only minor points were that the oven could use a deeper clean (we noticed some old food scraps in the baking plate) and there was only half a roll of toilet paper provided, so packing an extra roll might be a good idea for future guests.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.

Everything we needed was in the house. It was not only a house. It was a home. Cozy, warm, thoughtful. We did not feel cold during the winter. Location was accessible to dining areas and New World grocery. Kitchen was complete and have enjoyed cooking, too. Because it was winter, most plants in the garden were dry, but hopefully it will turn into green flowery plants during the spring. The range hood in the kitchen just needs a little cleaning as oil was dripping from it, but it did not bother us as it was a very minor thing. Overall, we were very happy and satisfied with this home.
