"I've rarely experienced hospitality as this, period. And, I've traveled to many parts of the world and all over the US, renting homes and staying at resorts such as Four Seasons and St Regis. The owners, Alin and Hertha, were there to meet us upon arrival and welcomed us with open arms. It is hard to go over everything that they arranged for us to make our stay so comfortable as we were there to shoot a film documentary and needed a quiet, more remote place to stay to unwind each day. "The room was large, the bed was relatively comfortable. There were only 2 flat pillows, which made it a bit uncomfortable for two people. The air-conditioner was fine. Breakfast was very good, better than most other hotels we stayed at on this trip. There was a free secure parking in front of the hotel - very convenient. The hotel is on the river bank and there is a park across the river. A walk through the park gets you to the old town."

"Loved the location, the courtyard structure of the building, very comfortable bed, bathroom, and climate control, breakfast. Staff was very helpful getting taxis and managing flight delays and spoke very good English. Be advised, no elevator and reception only present from 8 am to 8 pm. All in all, charming building just around the corner from the Orthodox cathedral."
